I haven't seen cards in my walmart shelves in atleast 2 months. I could usually catch the vendor or right after but it's like he doesn't even come anymore or everything gets taken right away.

Like how you are excited about finding good cards! We do, too. Pretty easy to fall into simply ripping for dollars, but at your base, you love collecting and baseball! Again, loaded with good card and player info.
You’ve got the golden hand when picking packs. I’ve opened probably 100+ 18 update fat packs and haven’t found an Acuna Sp. nice pull!

Congrats on the Acuna SP! I always check the clearance bins at my local Walmarts for bargains. Lately it's been a lot of 2018 Series 1 and not much else. Also, I set off that darn security sensor nearly every time I buy cards at Walmart, even though I try and scan the cards thoroughly at check out. Never happens at other retail stores like Target and Walgreens. Walmart is still a good place to buy cards though.

I did this the other day and found 3 2017 Series 1 and a 2018 Topps Update and got Judge and Bregman but not Benintendi (which I had already). Went to another Wal-Mart today and they had nothing in the clearance at all. Was a bit surprised to see your face and looking happy. Hopefully everything is getting back to some assemblance of normal.

This is the third time I’ve seen his face. I’ve been watching this dude open cards for a year now!! Great Acuna pull. Every time I head down to my local Walmart’s I alway check the clearance bin.

I found seven packs of 2018 Update at a Walmart yesterday and bought all of them. I also recently found 5 packs at a Big Lots. This Big Lots had a tray of discount fat packs that I’m guessing came from a Walmart because they had the exact same clearance sticker on them. There were other products like 18 Gallery, 17 Series 2 plus some other sports. They were 5 bucks per pack, but still a great bargain for the 18 Update packs.
Of those 12 total 18 Update packs, I did not get an Acuna regular rookie but I got every insert plus 3 regular Sotos and 7 Torres.
If you get the Walmart app it has a price checker that is very handy to find clearance stuff. If you buy video games always check the price online cause it is almost always cheaper and they will price match their online price, just fyi.

I pulled a JD Martinez Superfractor out of a Walmart blaster box of 2016 Topps Chrome. I always go back to that store and have decent luck.
Did this last night lol pulled an insane amount of inserts, a really nice Tatis Rookie, a Didi Rookie, a numbered Mattingly, and a no name auto. It was pretty fun!
I can only dream of this the rest of my life.

Got lucky as hell to find a 2018 Topps pack at my local Wal-Mart and was lucky enough to pull the Acuña bat up version, which, at a PSA 10, has gone for around $80 on Ebay! I've had some really good luck out of $3.48 clearance packs. I've also pulled several Gleybers, Ohtanis, a couple Bellingers, a couple other Acuñas, and a Bregman all out of clearance packs. Going to send several in to PSA at some point in my life, along with a Patrick Mahomes Rated Rookie, Christian McCaffrey Rated Rookie/s, Dak Prescott Rated Rookie, Saquon Barkley Rated Rookie and a couple other NFL cards, all of which I've pulled from clearance packs. Clearance at Wal-Mart has been kind to me in both MLB and NFL packs!
Love he was holding a gold cup Shoehi and he said haven’t been seeing any big rookies lol!!
I got all my Acuna Jr and Soto rookie cards out of Clearance packs. I think I bot 15-20 packs and ended up with 5 Acuna and 6 Soto cards. I saved 2 of each and sold the rest of the cards including the commons for $200

I have Walmart near me, but farther than my closest one, like the 2nd one you went to. Always stocked. I do notice their employees and LPS pay closer attention though. Every time I'm there for an extended period of time deciding, they will walk up to me, or wait until I'm at the self checkout register, to ask how I'm doing? Lol

Wow clearance too, nice card. Btw imo ebay pricing is horrendous. Beckett has the card around $50 blue and red pullover. The white jersey batting is the high value one.
JetEyeNight eBay is ridiculous guys throw up cards there and hope to become a millionaires. I go back and forth between eBay and Beckett and eBay is insane. To me it doesn’t seem realistic most of the time. People on eBay undervalue and overvalue their cards. Sometimes I see eBay and Beckett have the same price range with cards.

Yeah I just found 16 rack packs of 2018 topps update at party city. That’s crazy if you ask me. Who will try to look for cards there. I bought them all. I was very shocked to see them there still. They were sitting there for over a year. I’m speechless.
You should try using brickseek to search the walmart inventory.
@Dave Wesley it's a web site that's original created for Lego collectors, it will let you search walmart / target inventory for what they currently have in stock with the UPC (the site has a built in UPC searcher).

I bought a blaster box from Wal-Matt and pulled an Austin Meadows SP and a gold Juan soto rc! Both were the base rcs variations.
PS the soto grade a bgs 9.5 from beckett
I found a total of 13 fat packs of 2018 update between the three walmarts near me about two months ago man was I happy! And they were on clearance!

I pulled that Acuna SP and sold it at auction on Ebay for $215 raw. Pulled another and got a PSA 10 sold for $455 on Ebay BIN.

The acuna worth $220 wow! The benitendi worn like $4 really turned the pull around!!

The California University of PA gives a good clue that colleges nearby might mean there might be a better chance of cards...might need to check Waynesburg or Washington & Jefferson
I started collecting last May, but these previous series have better designs imo.
GOOD LORD LOL, I have never seen a Walmart shelf so stocked! You can't find the 2019 2020 NBA Draft class anywhere around here, the whole box was stocked! :)

So, update 2018 was what I bought most of when I was brand new at this, think of all my superchats going into fat packs every time I got bored while out driving around. Haha, I was looking for more and more of the Manaea No-hitter cards. I wouldn't be surprised if I had over a hundred of those packs. Time to go back through and see what I have. At the same time last year I found one random 2017 pack at Rite Aid while looking for Fairfield boxes. Pulled a Judge 1987 out of it.
