Thanks for reviewing this! We're starting to play some off the cuff story telling bed time stories with our 4 year old and he loves it. We've been playing around with Hero Kids which has been pretty fun in very short sessions. I think Starport is something he's really going to dig.

It's cool that you're doing a review on a game targeted at kids. I hope some families get this and make quarantine more fun.

Im kind of wondering if this would be a good way for me to help my first grader students do story telling.

Seems like a cute way into rpgs. And a bit simpler than No thank you Evil. I still worry about lack of direction in games like this(because I'm bad at storytelling). Stuffed Fabled was nice in that it directs you, however it's too creepy and not appealing to my daughter. Going to check this out more.

I was looking at this and couldnt help to see thats its pretty much No Thank you Evil by Monte Cook games. by that I mean the mechanics, art and pretty much everything. Is there an affiliation to between both games?

This game along with Weave Society are excellent ways to introduce kids into RPG!!

Are games in Starport meant to be one shots or do the PCs earn XPs for advancement and leveling up?

The game looks interesting, but I have to disagree that dnd and other ttrpgs are “inherently violent.” It might be unconventional, but it would be completely possible to run a combatless game with dnd 5e.

So play this with kids instead of Kult: Divinity Lost.

Yes she's married, although creepy joke guy on the internet but probably wasn't going to make the cut even if she wasn't.
