Chan as a vocalist is underrated. He rarely goes flat or out of tune (singing live). His range is quite wide. Most importantly his tonal quality is distinguishable. I can always pick out his part. It’s “Oh it’s Chan” kind of heart warming moment :). Thank you for reacting to this uni song. It does give me Day6 vibe, too. The emotion in this recording is genuine. They weren’t just singing pretty. They out a piece of their heart in the song.
My vocal coach placed him second best vocalist 😭🔥
He and Seungmin are the best vocalists technique wise so I'll never understand stays who rank them and NOT mention him in top 3 lol, they know nothing about vocals.
chan's vocals are definitely underrated and i'd definitely rate him 2nd when he's sticking to his comfort range. chan does also go out of tune, just not as much as seungmin and han. except seungmin goes off because he always makes attempts but chan chooses to either change the key or play it safe. i noticed he started leaving that last adlib at the end to backtrack where he has to go quite high for that belt after seoul day 1. he sang it live that day and had some major pitch issues and decided to leave it for backtrack with some attempts here and there throughout the tour whenever he thought he could do it. there's a cute moment on one of their later dates where he attempts it and nearly nails it and seungmin smiles in surprise. i wish chan would work on his vocals more but i also get that he's good for what hes asked to do in most skz songs.
the last lines were actually i.n! he finishes the song amazingly.

I don’t know if you’ve ever watched any of their kingdom performances, but their vocals in their “I’ll be your man” kingdom show are awesome, and the stage itself is beautiful! Highly recommend if you do ever want to watch a kingdom show from them
I would LOVE to hear their take on I'll be your man. Some of my friends, fellow Stays, who love SKZ to death, were not convinced by their performance, saying that their vocals sounded strained(?) from an objective point of view. I personally have mixed feelings and out of all their amazing Kingdom performances, I am still not sure whether I like I'll be your man or not. Would love to hear the opinion on it of a trained ear
@@martying94 their kingdom shows have always stood out to me because of how much movement they do with some oftheir stages while still have strong vocals, its nuts! I've never really heard a strained part in ill be your man, but ill definitely have to give it another listen out of curiosity now. I really like how these guys go in depth talking about stuff so it'd be really cool having them watch a kingdom show

They sang this at their concert in Jakarta recently and all the stays were singing it back and bang Chan was really touched it was a really sweet video to see 🥲

Oh, BangChan is actually one of the lead vocalists along with Han. Lmao no one ever expects the vocals those two can put down and in the next breath have an excellent rap flow.
What can we say... That's Stray Kids BangaChan! The Group Leader, All-Rounder, Main Producer, Lead Vocalist and Rapper
(Simce I mentioned him ist only right I add Han Jisung. Who has earned the title of the 4th gen Ace as their Lead Procedure/Songwriter, Main Rapper, Main Lead Vocalist, and a Lead Dancer.
🤷♀️ To sum it up... Always expect the unexpected from Stray Kids when it comes to their positions and their talent.
Also! This is a song that Lino wrote the guide for. It was after a schedule completion, he went out to the car to wait for the other member he was there with. So, yeah... He was these for quite some time. Lol It did however give him an idea, so he took that time to start writing. By the time the member got back to the car, he had enough to show Chris. So together him and 3RACHA made this. Han was SO impressed by his beautiful lyrics, that it's some of his favorite of the year!
I'm actually convinced that nothing those men put out is filler, in fact I think we as a fandom now know that. Chris has hundreds of completed songs, all waiting for their time to shine. Everything has purpoe and they have worked out what is going were for something like... Two years?... In advance. With some alterations to the lineup as they happen.
That having been said, I really appreciate you two. Thank you are being such awesome memebers of the STAY fandom. Needless to say, we've definitely loved having you! ♡

Lino actually was talking about writing his parts only so can you edit that part of your comment? :) The song was written and composed by Chan, Lee Know, Seungmin and Jeongin. The other 3RACHA members weren't a part of it either.
fr bang chan's vocals are under appreciate it , he's such an incredible vocalist , his tone is so clear and pretty , he's so freaking stable live and his voice has such emotion that gets you everytime you hear , you should definitely react to his song "hate to admit it" , it's a skz record and i swear the song is worth it , everything about it it's simply gorgeous
the last couple of albums Lee knows voice has given me goose bumps!
When Changbin said SKZ's color is rainbow, it fits in every way it could mean: genre for each song or the genres they mix in one song, their voice tone, and even their personalities HAHA ISTG Waiting for us had my hands lifted and swaying, eyes close, and my soul is just out of my body

Bang Chan, along with Seungmin, is a main vocalist material :D They don't have official positions but they're definitely the best singers in the group.
this song i think was meant to be an ode to Stay because SKZ couldnt meet us because of pandemic and they are being grateful that we are waiting for them.. this song showed so much vocal progress from Lee Know and IN, and seeing them live was just goosebumps all over. if youre done with maxident, do SKZ player/record or Kingdom performance. Seungmin vocal in love poem blew my mind
One thing for sure, there's no "filler" song in any skz's album, any song has it's own value, it's own journey and deserved it's own mv.
Yes bangchan has a very amazing vocals. Seungmin and chan actually are my fav voices in 4th gen. Chan can really SING. If you want to see hus best vocals u should react to red light by bangchan and hyunjin made by themselves. Also bc I remember u mentioned how much u guys amazed and impressed by hyunjin in ODDINRAY album if u hear his voice his falsetto his vocals in red light u will definitely shock! I think after MAXIDENT u should check out their best album ever which's NOEASY. It was their full album and it filled by so many masterpieces for real
If you really want to appreciate Bang Chan's vocals, please listen to his solo song Don't Want to Acknowledge. Gets me in the feels every time.
One thing you have to know is that last voice is not Lee Know's voice but it is I.N's voice😍

When I first heard this,I already started crying in the intro,cried even more when Chan started singing and brawled when the chorus came and brawled even more in Seungmin and Minho's Falsetto...Jeongin's "felling alive" part is just so beautiful.
If you like this kind of song from skz, you should probably check out their "neverending story" live performance. I promise you won't regret it. It's probably one of their best live performance ever.

I agree. It's one of the earlier songs that just hit me soo soo soo good and from there I knew I had to discover who they were. I agree over 100% they are kings above the other groups in their generation. But in my heart they're number one to me. They've already showed they had all that talent in their beginning days. They've just been growing improving in every creative way. Im a stay forever always always.I do appreciate and enjoy yalls reactions and reviews. Informative insightful and fun.

You'll be blown away but some of their songs in Maxident, such as Super Board or Give me your TMI (which is Freeze's big sister!). And the unit songs are yet again SO DIFFERENT from the ones you just listened in ODDINARY.
Also, you should definitely check out their performance at MAMA next week! It'll follow the ODDINARY theme and it's supposed to be EPIC! Not to mention the special collab between Tiger JK and 3RACHA🔥
Jung Jae-il, one of the best music directors in Korea who's produced sounds for "Okja," "Parasite" and "Squid Game" will also team up for the special stage.
I absolutely LOVE Stray Kids as a whole, but I also REALLY enjoy when they switch it up on us by doing these unit songs. They always end up surprising us, and the unit songs usually end up being fan favorites.
For this album (Oddinary) the units were "The Rap Unit" and "The Vocal Unit", meaning, although everyone can sing and rap, these are the members that usually take up these positions.
For NoEasy the units were Bang Chan & Hyunjin "Red Lights", Lee Know, Changbin & Felix "Surfin'" and Han, Seungmin, & I.N "Gone Away". For these units they actually filmed a series called Stray Kids Song Camp: Howl in Harmony, and if you ever feel like checking it out, you can see some of the decision making that went into each units choice of song, and the MV's they filmed for them. Prior to that they had unit songs on the album IN LIFE (the repackage of their first full length album GO LIVE) and they are "We Go" by 3Racha (Bang Chan, Changbin, Han), "WOW" by DanceRacha (Lee Know, Hyunjin, Felix) and "My Universe" feat. Changbin by VocalRacha (Seungmin & I.N). And look forward to a repeat of these units on Maxident!!

yess their tones, that's something I've always appreciated! I love that even with different genres its still stray kids. also maxident has 8 songs but the last one is just the Korean version of a Japanese release (circus) so you might want to just react to the original version since that one has an mv :) very excited to see you guys react to maxident, the production for it is insane!!
This is my fav song from the album. The most beautiful voices and the most emotional song ever. I love this reaction so much.
for the most part the color coded lyrics were right, some of them switched before they finished singing the verse but you can probably tell it wasn't finished since all the members have fairly unique tones
I think you guys would enjoy watching their album intros! They have intro videos for their albums where they talk about the album as a whole as well as the creation process of the songs, so I recommend checking that out and reacting to them if you're interested :)

The colour coded lyrics were wrong at times , like at the end it was actually I.N and it was wrong for the adlibs as well. But it’s okay we know they’re all talented!!
The way you guys described how they use different genres in their own way was so spot on. I think that's one of the reasons why I never get sick of their music. Every song is so different, there's something for every type of mood. And I change what I listen to based on how I'm feeling and everytime their music just helps.
They're such a versatile group as well. Everyone may have their main roles but in reality they're all good at everything they do.
I'm not sure what's up with these color coded lyric videos these days, but they keep messing up the line distribution in Stray Kids songs. Chan's part is 3:30 - 3:36, 3:37 - 3:43 is Lee Know's, the verse at 3:44 - 4:04 is actually I.N singing the whole time, and the ending 4:45 - 4:53 is also I.N singing
Yea unfortunately, I don't expect these color-coded videos to go back and fix any of these

I love almost all their songs and all their soft songs and it's safe to say that this is my favorite song along with Voices.
I hope you'll also get time to watch the MV of their songs "Secret, Secret" and "Sorry, I Love You" composed by Han and Changbin, respectively. I'm sure you'll also be pleasantly surprised with these songs. 😉

I really appreciate your opinions. I'm new to SKZ and to kpop in general. I'm picky and while I like quite a few songs, SKZ is the only group that has captured my attention. The music is just 🔥 and they really are a step above so much of the same.
Your assessment validates everything I've been feeling about this group. I've absorbed their discography and each comeback tops what was done before. Oddinary was brilliant and if you were impressed by it, Maxident is another level. It blew my mind.
As soon as I listened to this one I got a Day6 feeling, which I love it because I love Day6's music too. This song is amazing, it feels like a warm cup of chocolate on a cold day. I love Lee Know's voice it gives me goosebumps
In the last Beyond live they did the Muddy Water unit sang Waiting for us and vice versa…it was brilliant!
It's definitely one of the songs that surprises you with how beautiful they all sound outside of their "typical" element. ❤️🫰

For a vocal treat, listen to Bang Chan, Seungmin and I.N covering "I'll Try" by Day6. They performed it on Weekly Playlist #256 in Aug 2021. Seungmin and I.N are maturing into their voices gloriously! Bang Chan is already there, and his voices fits this style perfectly although I think he'd rather have a classic rapper's voice. 😆

Your appreciation for the structure( most of the beats are created by Chani, through all of the team have clear ideas on how the songs will sound!) of the music 3racha creates is truly enjoyable to watch!
Bang Chan is our hero, okay won't gush over him ( too much 😉). He has a poignant song in the ' SKZ Record' section called (English translation of the Hangul title) "I hate to admit" on the Stray Kids channel which is wonderful. Also they have others sung as a whole group, " Sorry I Love You" , "Secret, Secret", and other older songs one of my favs is " Another Day" which even if you don't reaction do enjoy in our lane time.
This song is so wonderful because as you've mentioned there are differences in the verses/sections. This actually translated to differences in seasons. 🤩

So glad you reacted to this, I learned a lot. This was not one that I listened to much, it wasn't suiting my mood at the time Oddinary came out, then I sort of never bothered to take a second listen, but now I'm interested to try it on some playlists for a while and see if that changes.
So....Maxident.....now we get to listen to the Skz take on Luuuuuv. Ha! No, you're not actually ready for it but you'll be perfectly satisfied anyway. You know you are going to have your expectations trounced, but I bet you won't predict just how they're going to trounce them. Say, play a game where you try to guess at the beginning of that video what you think Stray Kids will do with a love song title, and see how close you end up. Me, I wasn't even within viewing distance when I guessed.
I don't see Christmas Evel on your site, try to fit it in before the holiday season ends. Everyone needs a little Skz take on the holiday season.

Since we are now in December. You might want to do a quick detour to their Christmas releases from last year. Christmas evel let’s say is really stray kids Christmas take. And 24 to 25 shows off their soft vocals (especially Felix and changbin might surprise you). Winter falls is just beautiful:)

I don't know technical talk in music but i do unconsciously feel the difference in instrumentals when a different member starts singing/rapping in SKZ , other than that, the most noticeable twist in them for me is how a lot of times the main choruses r sung by different members ...example in this song the first chorus r sung by bangchan and i.n while the 2nd chorus comes on with seungmin and leeknow.... their vocals really add to that individuality to their songs.
in colour lyrics videos there was some mistakes of repartition of the lyrics, so it will be good to listen it again to catch the all thing

So the colored coded lyrics, there's a little bit mix up between I.N and Lee Know. The last line was I.N's and there's a high note mid-song that's Lee Know's but it said I.N instead
That thing Chan does at the end of his words really bugs me.. love him.. but like at @3:04 that breathy whiny nick jonas thing.. "waiting for us-AH, ttaeroneun duryeowosseo-AH' but they're still my faves!

Waiting For Us is my most played song from this album, and I’m a metal fan 😂 I was a fan for years but still so surprised to hear their vocals. The live version is more beautiful
