- What a BEAUTIFUL song written by Hyunjin and others!
Firstly, we figured out that Hyunjin had a huge role in creating this song right AFTER recording this video - but hey, we know now, and it helped us appreciate the song tremendously more. Coming from Comflex, we knew that at some point, there has to be that moving song featured in SKZFlix, and boom! We got Cover Me with all the feels we needed.
The roller coaster ride that was Megaverse, LALALALA, Blind Spot, and Comflex finally comes to a down point where we can breathe and enjoy the scenery. We predict that Leave will be similar in tone, but with the usual SKZ twist, so let's quickly get to it!!!

Hyunjin said during the album intro he got greedy and asked both Lee Know and Han to use their full/chest voice instead of falsetto like it was in the demo on the last part of the song. The whole song is so good. It is my fave on the album.
and Han said that he had to record for a second day because of that, which he hadn't done in a long time.

I just searched for it to make sure and it really is Hyunjin who composed this song along with Chan and Nikko Young.I wondered why he paid extra attention to it,so it's because he co-wrote it.This song is really good and the lyrics are heartwarming.Their voices are highlighted here,they all sound good.
Hyunjin and Bang Chan made this song. Hyunjin wrote most of it and Chan wrote the second verse. Chan also produced the instrumental track, with the help of guitarrist Nickko Young. ❤
Seungmin broke me in this song, as did Bang Chan and Lee Know...oh who am I kidding...all their vocals broke me. Such a beautiful song. Hyunjin's lyrics were top notch.
Seungmins "So, Cover me now" in one take will forever impress me and give me goosebumps.
Bang Chan working with 3RACHA definitely sounds different than Bang Chan working with Hyunjin and I love it. Their music is indeed very diverse.

if you don't scream "so cover me now" while it plays you're a psychopath, it's my favourite song of the album, it offers so much comfort as well as the emotional release and after screaming "cover me now" twice you feel SO MUCH better

The Seungmin "cover me now" was in SKZflix but it was very muted initially and then swelled when the guitar game in, but I think they changed the levels. The instrumentation was much louder in the film.

This song takes me back to my music theory class, where we discussed the function of the fifth interval. So beautifully done in the bridge first by Seungmin and then by Bang Chan. Powerful, impactful, spine tingling.
I think we really need to talk more about how genius hyunjin is for writing and making this masterpiece with chan, also about their vocals ,

thank you guys so much for this reaction. I believe Hyunjin and Bang Chan wrote the lyrics. I have always said Changbin is my favorite vocalist in stray kids. Don't get me wrong they all are amazing but for me changbin has a beautiful body tone that I just love when he does vocal songs with a lot of emotions. When he was on mask singer and he sang the lyrics of no more tears brought me to my knees. Hyunjin wrote is firs vocal song a few years back about his first dog. Hyunjin is another ace for stray kids like Han. His style of rap or vocals is beautiful. They are perfect at everything. These 8 members are one powerful group that compliment each other and why they are so successful. Not just in performing but in general and that is why they will always be loved. It is the same for BTS and Black Pink. It is more than just the performance and music it is the combination and personalities that make people love these talented groups.

Glad you appreciated hyunjin and changbin vocals here. Sadly hyunjin had short lines but it put such impact on my soul his voice is full of emotions.. and chan and seungmin high note is everything,, hyunjin gave so much spotlight to members in this song for vocals,, I wish we could get cover me demo ver it's hyunjin and bangchan, I need to hear hyunjin vocals moree.
Even when he is in charge of producing he still doesn’t give himself much lines because he prefers to let his members shine. he’s so humble 😢 I wish he would allow himself to showcase his voice more too

Skz never disappoints
This song was amazing, I love it. In the intro, they said they pushed to sing in full voice, and that was the best decision cause you are right. The song is super full and strong and just amazing.
This song has rapidly overtaken my top 10 and is sitting right at number one at the moment. Hyunjin is really coming into his own with music writing, lyricism and production - with the support of Chan, of course. I love watching your videos so much because I have the exact same feelings about the music as you both do. And then, you go on to talk about elements of the song! Chan said hyunjin basically made whole cover me himself it was so good that didn't need much edit ,, hyunjin was so happy to make it , if u watch intro hyunjin himself directing cover me recording he was so professional and even wanted members sing in full voice instead of falsetto. So hyunjin make skz vocals outstanding so well , skz dosen't have this impactful vocals style
