My initial thought on this song when I first heard it was that it reminded me of old kpop songs vibe. It’s super good that I rewatched the stage video so many times before the album was released. Changbin is truly a master of love songs. I really like Mixtape: On Track, Sorry, I Love You and Ex so much, Leave is definitely going in the list. Oh and to mention, Lee Know’s vocal in this is top notch. I was so surprised when I listened to the recording behind. This song suits him so much. And not to mentioned Seungmin, he executed the pre-chorus perfectly. His voice has so much emotions.

Skz has good grasp on older music which they can color as their own. An advice a veteran band musician I heard say on TV was also for new people to learn old music because theyre tried and tested. seungmin does have better and more consistent support but in this case chan's delivery is deliberate, adding air makes it sound more emotional. i remember him directing jeongin to sing with more air to sound emotional in i'll be your man recording. i think it works.
@@tapioooca5182 oh for sure im not saying chan is a bad singer or that his part is bad! but seungmin has a piercing tone and has better technique so he sounds more powerful. its funny bc watching the intro video and what changbin really wanted, seungmin is the only one that's not "whining" the way he wanted haha actually chan himself has a more powerful chesty voice as is and its apparent in songs like get lit but he's stuck with jyp's bad breathing technique so if he worked on that he'd be even stronger.
