He’s also a bit emotionally withdrawn from grief. So he hires a nanny, specifically for his mute daughter whom he finds hard to communicate with. The nanny falls in love with him and the kids and they become a real family. He learns how to connect more with his kids through the antics that the nanny and the kids subject him to, it’s very domestic, lighthearted and funny. The male lead is cool and composed like this guy and kind of looks like this actor too. While the female lead is goofy and cheerful.
He didn't get enough credit for this role, he crushed it. Never seen such a strong masculine performance that was totally convincing in kdramas until he pulled this off. 👏👏

Thankfully he found out early so the child won't remember him in the future(the boy is 2yrs 8months) but having to split from the mother was something he felt he needed to do even if it broke him initially. Ladies no man wants to raise another man's child unknowingly. If he choose to be the child's father that's one thing but deceiving a man to think the child is his isn't the same thing.
