there's people found their romance unnecessary. on the contrary for me, it's much needed, everytime they're on my screen, they let me breathe. in the middle of gloomy and dark drama, full of toxic relationships, theirs gave me warm and tender feeling. the cruel world broke them but they healed and saved each other. important note, their romance is even more wholesome bcs it didn't get in the way of dongeun's revenge, rather perfected it, just like yeojeong said. 🥺
Exactly. Dongeun's life had stopped at the age of 18 and her life was so difficult that she rarely got to experience the warmth, kindness, and love from people. Among a few others, Yoojeong was one of the main people who not only understood her anger and supported her every step of the way, but loved her unconditionally. Yoojeong essentially brought back love and joy in Dongeun's life that had been all about her revenge until then, so that 19 year old Dongeun could finally start living her life. Their romance is essential for the both of them to remind themselves that they have more to live for than just their revenge.
He is the most terrifying character in this drama. He even started planning way before dong eun. He may not be the true mastermind of the revenge but he sure is the enabler.
"I'm just trying to show you that I'm here" = the most touching and comforting thing I've ever heard in such a situation, rather than forcing his presence on her, he just stay around till she's ready again. Love this scene!
As much as I loved the chemistry between her and doyeoung, this couple won my heart in part 2. His love towards her was the only comfort i felt on her behalf. He deserves her 🥺♥️
It’s not a romantic drama but having elements of real love and commitment was refreshing here, even though the whole story is about revenge. Both characters knew they were damaged but still found some solace in each other
I just realized something. When he's showing her the trick with the dissolving pills that he uses to calm his mind and she tries to see if it works for her too, it's not the sound of the pill that calms her. It's him. She doesn't focus on the sound of the pill to feel calm, she looks at him and that's what makes her feel at peace.
@@ednalynlozada4793 I don't think it's a coincidence at all tbh. Yeojeong is shown to be highly aware of Dongeun's sensitivity to sizzling sounds. Whenever she's in the kitchen, he always tries to make sure she's kept away from the hot utensils, until she started to feel comfortable enough in the kitchen that she began cooking meals for them. I'm sure he suggested the pill dissolving idea after that.
@@johncra8982 For me, the dissolving pills reminds him of that autumn day that they first played Go. The color and the sound of the falling leaves resembles it.
I wish I could get more of their moments after the revenge is done, because seeing Dongeun 'alive' and smiling really warms up my heart 🥺, Yoojeong was the only one who'd never ask for a return from her and give her his whole heart instead. They deserve each other.
In front of Yeo Jeong, she can be herself, show her scars, talk about her hate, talk about her fear, talk about her sadness, talk about her plan without being judged as drama / toxic / sad history / low value girl. Just this part, it is already almost impossible to find a man like Yeo Jeong in this world. He is too perfect and too lovely. In this whole show, Yeo Jeong's strength is slow, grounded, solid, mature, caring and sweet. I really hope we can have another EP focus on Yeo Jeong's plan. Do Yeong have a mature good looking strong business man outlook which is very seducing, but Yeo Jeong is those who you will not want to let go of his hand and wish to grow old with him.
Their chemistry was real, it was something that not too many people understood, and many confused admiration with chemistry (Ha Do-Yeong). For me at least is one of the best couples in a K-drama, because it's not a soapy couple it's a genuine love and understanding relationship.
Only broken people can understand and accept that, just because is broken you don't need to fix it. But you can help to put the pieces together, so they can have a choice to fix it for themselves in the right moment...
It feels good to see some content on this main couple. I get flabbergasted how many people ship her with the main culprit's husband. Let me give some reasons why she got the right man... 1. This doc committed to her wholeheartedly, without any if and buts. 2. She was most comfortable around him. Remember the scene when she goes to his place for the first time after having a traumatic breakdown? She trusted him enough to show all of her scars. 3. She always came to him whenever things turned awfully bad for her. 4. Do yeong's main priority was always his daughter while Yeo jeong's only priority was Dong eun. I am very glad that the right couple ended up together. It was the best possible ending to this particular storyline.
I love him so much he's just soo i can't describe he's so loveable, his character he seems so goffy and fun to be around with i love his voice too and he's so funny gosh my favourite actor he's super handsome!! Not forgetting the queen ' song Hye kyo ' most gorgeous ever!!! Her acting and everything ❤️
I honestly don't understand why people say that Do-Yeong had better chemistry with her. There were moments of curiosity between them but there was never any affection. Yeo-jeong was on the same page as Dong-eun from day one, and devoted himself to her without asking anything in return. Through the course of the show you can see Dong-eun start to change as she realizes that he's really truly her friend, that she can trust him, that she can have happiness waiting for her in the end. They're partners in trauma and crime....they feel like they have an actual spark between them. Their relationship represents hope for Dong-eun to finally have happiness. It was so bizarre for me to go online and see people think that Yeo-jeong would be better for her with zero logic behind it. Sorry but 'chemistry' isn't enough for me when you have an actual deep connection going on with someone else.
Lee Do Hyun is a bliss to my eyes❤. Petetion for Season 3, where I can see my Yeo-jeong getting his share of revenge 🔥 They both are a salvation for eachother ❣️
Their character arcs are perfect and complete. Just because we didn't get to see a long, winding plot of prisonwide manipulation ending in a scene of Yeojeong avenging his dad doesn't mean we need to drag out the story. The reason parts 1 and 2 were great had nothing to do with the mechanics of Dongeun's schemes. It was watching the journey of these two characters as they came together and brought the kind of light and love into each other's lives that each of them once believed they would never find. The story ending with both of them telling each other "I love you" as they smile, feeling complete at last, setting on another journey together, is the reason this show is perfect. Extending it past this conclusion, when the showrunners have made all their points about revenge, dignity, love, and destiny, just for the sake of some plot points alone makes absolutely no sense. These two deserve peace and love with each other and the fans deserve to be content with this perfect ending, not some neverending MCU type nonsense that keeps going for no reason. With that said, if they did a miniseries with no park yeonjin or her mother or the killer or any of the other characters, just these two being a happy couple going on dates, cooking food with each other, doing nice things and pleasant surprises for each other, that'd be perfectly acceptable 👍
Wait... I just noticed he said don't mess up a good day with her cooking. 😂 Dongeun says he is a kindhearted lunatic. 😂 He showed her a lot of kindness and warmth.
Last scene was just perfect, and It kinda broke my heart when Yeo Jeong for the first time showed her how sad and cruel It was for him last time she left him. He cared and was there for her all along, and she was cold like ice. You could see it in her eyes that she realized that. Seeing her make the move first was so satisfying.
Yeo jeong (Lee Do Hyun) was just the perfect silver lining to the entire series, the character was perfect and Lee Do Hyun was stellar in this (this, I believe was his 2nd drama wherein he is so convincing in playing as the love interest with a co-actress main lead where they have a gap in real life, and both actresses are A-listers and drop dead gorgeous to boot as well). No matter what anyone says about the merit of the character in the story, I just want to point out that the plot is a revenge theme and really tackles on what makes such a choice to do worth it and if you can have salvation for going through that decision and completing it. Amidst all of that darkness and all the bad stuff, there is reprieve, there is normalcy, thus, every time these 2 are on the screen, I just smile because I knew they were end game (even if Ha Do yong *cough* was the perfect anti-matter to do young's character, and boy that tension was something,*blush*). A little let down though, the sequence that I replay the most starts at when Dong eun texted him after years of radio silence until that conversation at the park when he flat out told her he should date him 😉and that moment when he 1st saw her smile and laugh...that look just melted me and it was priceless...I wish they added that in.❤❤❤
It's not even about the romance,it sure isn't the most passionate love story out there. They just were each other safe space, and honestly, this is more fitting for them instead of a gut wrenching romance. They had enough going on in their daily life and the fact that they knew that the other wouldn't judge them for their choice was enough
Thank heavens for this clip! I'd literally been filming all these scenes on my phone while streaming it on my laptop so that I have a collection of these scenes to watch whenever I want to be reminded of a love story as pure as this.
I’m so glad for scenes like this among the many dark violent scenes that dominate this series. I swear, Dr Yeo Jeong is like a breath of fresh air amidst the bleak theme of this series. He seriously gets top-notch skills at picking up the perfect lines ❤
They are not trying to be romantic or cute but since both of them don't know how to be in a relationship it came out so natural and innocent. Her cold and passive exterior while him just trying to show her how much he cares, I can't believe I'm saying this but it was cute and romantic in a very strange way. @11:34 I just realized he was simply asking her in a subtle way if she loves him, and for a moment there he was a bit disappointed with the answer. Then @13:15 she has a new answer.
Never thought I could fall inlove in a character like this. LDH making my heart crazy and giving me a hearbeat like a teeny girl. I even look for him in IG and followed. I'm quietly obsessed. Imao
Honestly they are my top 1 comfort couple like the way Yeo-jeong takes cae of dongeun and his small actions he helped her. Seeing them on screen was like a fresh air for me form the whole gloomy plot like Don't get me wrong I love the plot but It was just Too dark and they made it warm and fluffy
I was so sad when she left him toward the end. I thought it's over for their relationship after revenge is done. ❤ the happy ending and now we wait for season 2 next year!😂
Another interesting comparison about these two, and imo another reason why they are perfect for each other, is that they both fantasized about killing their hated person. In the first episode, Dong-eun fantasizes about beating Yeon-Jin with a stapler when she's putting up the pictures in her apartment. Later, we see Yeo-jeong take a knife from his knife drawer and envision stabbing his father's killer with it and how he'd bleed out. They both have darkness in them due to the pain they've experienced at others' hands, and this is why they're able to fully empathize with each other, not just sympathize.
I compared their relationship to the one in the Chinese-HK “Better Days”. Both relationships were the kind that most people would fail to understand because of the circumstance. The actors in that movie had a about a 10 year age difference. In the movie they’re around the same age. But in real life she was nearing her 30s, and he was near college age. Both relationships were wholesome and sweet. They were willing to break the law and protect each other. She moved into his place. He helped her get back at the bullies. And they struck up a deal.
I love them. The show perfectly mix the heart breaking and dark revenge theme with this sweet romance on the background. Their scenes together made every episode, no matter how great, 100% better😍
Literally one of my best kdrama 💜 which i have watched in my whole life 🧬 .They are just perfect couple ik she have used him at first but actually she also have feelings ✨ for him and their chemistry litterly i have no words to express and at last they both were happy with each other 🥰 btw if u haven't watched this kdrama u should go and just watch this it is really worth to watch ✨✨ And also there was a scene in this kdrama when Yeo-Jeong was checking moon's fever 🤒 that scene really gives me butterflies 🦋🦋✨
Yeojong is just so pure.Doeyeong felt cold most of the time and I often felt she wasn’t giving back the love Yeojong was giving her,it was tottaly understandable. All Doeyeong ever received was hatred and cruelty of other people.Never love. When yeojong started loving him,it was a foreign feeling for her and naturally it took a lot of time for her to open up.but they finally were together at the end and that's what matters . Although the chemistry between do yeong and dong yeon were top notch.
For me they made sense and I love that they ended up together. He is the only one she’s ever known who down to the bone understands the rage and vengeance she experienced. The feeling of wanting the monsters that made their lives hell to experience the results of their actions. He knew who she was during that coldest season of his life, I feel like he said that to her because he felt less lonely being with her, and I think she felt the same way which is why she moved into his home. They both have ulterior motives, but never use each other, instead the offer each other help, support, a hug. Even dong eun said how she felt like it would be unfair for her to once she realized he’s a victim just like her. But I think despite liking her, he decided to help her for that reason. He was her 1% not only for her revenge but in the end for her life, and in the end she became his as well.
I would love a season 3 of watching these two's romance and relationship continue to bloom, if Hyeon-nam ever sees her daughter again, how they make his dad's murderers' life hell. But mostly, I'd like to watch Dong-eun and Yeo-jeong process their traumas post-revenge. lol basically i want slice of life/domesticity scenes of these two.
I don't care that lot fans wants the Dong- eun and the husband Do-Yeong together, I wanted them together Please! Yeo-jeong The Doctor she doesn't need prince/King she needs a killer.
Fascination and curiosity is not love. Ha Do Yeong has too much on his plate and she's truly using him. Cold blooded using him. YJ she thought twice about using. You don't get it, Yeo Jeong is not a prince, he's her axman, her executioner without question. He is a killer. Ha Do Yeong might have killed Yeojin's baby daddy to protect his daughter, but that's for his own sake, not for Dong Eun, even though she set him up and used him like she did with Hye Jeong. Both were nothing more than her weapons. Yeo Jeong was truly her partner in crime. Ha Do Yeong merely fell into her trap, willingly, and then found that he had to stay in the marriage with Yeojin just to protect his daughter and find out the truth. He was poisoned by Dong Eun opening his eyes to who Yeojin really is, she tore off her mask and there was no unseeing the monster he married. Ha Do Yeong was collateral damage.
That moment where Yeo-jeong shares the effervescent tablet in the water with her, is her chance to replace bad memories with good memories - the sound of a soothing moment with a caring person replaces a memory of the sound of searing flesh.
Tama po. Ipinanganak para sa isat isa. Sa dramang THE GLORY PO ITO. Nasa entertainment, informative, life like world sila. Kung sakaling sa totoong buhay ay sila nga, ano pakialam natin? Buhay nila yan. Buhay nalang din natin ang ating tingnan at pagaralan kung paano maging mas progreso at tama ang ating sariling buhay, okay po?
There are two types of depression. One type is their depression is written all over them People can see and feel it. Another is that they put a mask on and act everything is fine. When reality it is killing them from inside😢 that's the message I got from this drama.

Later, we see Yeo-jeong take a knife from his knife drawer and envision stabbing his father's killer with it and how he'd bleed out. They both have darkness in them due to the pain they've experienced at others' hands, and this is why they're able to fully empathize with each other, not just sympathize.
I'm here after watching Good Bad Mother... This actor totally won me over with his expressive acting. His tone delivery and emotions are so spot on.
6:28 her eyess....the way she could've felt that warmth maybe for the first time....amidst all that past pain...she knows she has someone noww🙂🙂
5:58 That caught me off guard for a second 😹
Also they are so cute together 💗
imagine if the glory was a slice of life / melodrama series... man they're the healing couple i need
I love this couple. Looking forward for season 2! Can't wait to see them together again. ❤❤❤
And his mom too... I love it that they destiny to meet and be together.
OMG THANK U FOR THE CLIP 😭💜
Without a doubt, she is not only an incredible actress but is blessed with beauty that takes my breath away ❤️
I love their chemistry. They needed each other. He is the right one for her as he treated her very gently..
정말 속상하고 화나다가도 가끔 이렇게 예쁜 두사람의 착한 사랑를 보면 가슴이 후련해진다
Perfect title because it's so true 😍😍😍
Literally one of my best kdrama 💜 which i have watched in my whole life 🧬 .They are just perfect couple ik she have used him at first but actually she also have feelings ✨ for him and their chemistry litterly i have no words to express and at last they both were happy with each other 🥰 btw if u haven't watched this kdrama u should go and just watch this it is really worth to watch ✨✨
And also there was a scene in this kdrama when Yeo-Jeong was checking moon's fever 🤒 that scene really gives me butterflies 🦋🦋✨
It was sort of true he was born to love her!!
the way actually yeo jeong is the most terrifying character in this drama but also the sweetest
I love this couple 😢
Yeojong is just so pure.Doeyeong felt cold most of the time and I often felt she wasn’t giving back the love Yeojong was giving her,it was tottaly understandable. All Doeyeong ever received was hatred and cruelty of other people.Never love. When yeojong started loving him,it was a foreign feeling for her and naturally it took a lot of time for her to open up.but they finally were together at the end and that's what matters .
Although the chemistry between do yeong and dong yeon were top notch.
Hyekyo … why you look so pretty❤
This is my all time favourite couple . They became each other's light which made their love so touching in this series.❤
They have the exactly type of relationship that i find so delightful to watch ❤
Wow! Very nice ending❤❤❤
these subtitles are much better and more accurate than some that are actually on Netflix, why are they kinda different??
I LOVE THEM ❤🥰
I love Song hye kyo ❤❤
I have to paused just to geek out and slam the table because of the cuteness overload of this compilation.
I'm absolutely in love with them! We really need a special episode showing their life together)))
I hope I see more of these actors. This is some class acting ❤️🙌🏻
I love how he’s the happiness in her life it feels so nice to see her to feel something positive
Manifesting a love like this 🙏🏽💕
I needed more of this couple❤❤❤❤
Ha Do Yeong was collateral damage.
and we realized that we'll never find the man like the Yeo Jeong's character cause he was way over standard TT
He took my heart with his button. 😍🥰😘
That moment where Yeo-jeong shares the effervescent tablet in the water with her, is her chance to replace bad memories with good memories - the sound of a soothing moment with a caring person replaces a memory of the sound of searing flesh.
i love their relationship😭😭💜
I LOVE THEM
Tama po. Ipinanganak para sa isat isa. Sa dramang THE GLORY PO ITO. Nasa entertainment, informative, life like world sila. Kung sakaling sa totoong buhay ay sila nga, ano pakialam natin? Buhay nila yan. Buhay nalang din natin ang ating tingnan at pagaralan kung paano maging mas progreso at tama ang ating sariling buhay, okay po?
There are two types of depression. One type is their depression is written all over them
People can see and feel it. Another is that they put a mask on and act everything is fine. When reality it is killing them from inside😢 that's the message I got from this drama.
Don't know why some haters watched this even tho they said they don't like them together lol.
Haters hate no matter how beautiful it is, they will surely find flaws to destroy it or start a rumor.
Loved the drama and this couple❤❤
i love them🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰♥️♥️
And here I'm in love with his house💜😌
I Love them, their chemistry is soo hdajksmfjjddj...Arghh
