I am so happy that you did this video couldn't agree more kuminga hasn't had a fair shot with his growth and i blame Kerr and people are always talking shit about mistakes he makes but he is learning still I believe in kuminga and it's nice to see a video that is positive about kuminga instead of the negative people thrive on with kuminga

Nah he gone be an all start player. You seen the potential last year. He went from 9 pgg to 16. If kerr would’ve played him in the beginning of the season he would’ve averaged 20 plus. And there’s no klay thompson. So I’m for sure he’s gonna be a all star

After seeing Steph still be great. I can see Kuminga taking it up a notch and making this team competitive. Podz TJD and even Moody can be great for this team if Kerr utilizes them.

He really has been putting in a lot of work. Much respect for him. He's getting ready for a really big season and opportunity this year so as a Warriors fan it's a nice thing to know he's taking his job seriously. Capable of getting an efficient 25PPG in a season. He can score in multiply ways and know how to draw a good foul in and around the paint. He had the second most free throw attempts a night at 4.0 in just 26.4 minutes averaged per contest. A lot of potential to contribute more and in my fair opinion it's only gets more up from here.

Just remember Kuminga is from Africa, where he wasn't taught the game as much and didn't play as much until he arrived in the US. So his growth will be exponential like Siakam's was although Kuminga has more potential because he's more physically gifted than Siakam and he also arrived in the NBA earlier. But comparing Kuminga to American, Canadian, Australian or even European like Wemby and Giannis isn't fair considering Kuminga started later so his development times are way different and can't be measured the same way.

Steve Kerr is the reason the warriors are where they are. I don’t mean that in a good way. He’s hindered the younger players with little to no minutes. Zero player development on his part and he should be replaced sooner than later in my honest opinion.

Great points and I agree. He inherited something Mark Jackson molded while they were ascending into their prime and it has him as a decorated coach. When i look at team USA sideline its funny seeing Spoelstra as his "assistant" 😂😂. He's gonna have to adjust and get better now though or it is going to be very telling.

Everyone knocking Steve like they knocked Curry. What he's gotta win 3 more championships with just rookies. He's got a gold m. championships as a player 4 with GS as coach and 1 of those he shouldn't have. It's sucks that as soon as your not on top people wanna kick him all the way down the mountain. Haters😅. He has an amazing record that not many people will ever get. Respect

I got lost when he said Mark Jackson gave this team to Kerr. They have different coaching style but give credit to Mark cuz he gave Steph and Klay the confidence boost they needed and also bob myers for bringing in Andre. I'm just saying that you sound like you are discrediting steve kerr coaching so much. Obviously there is something wrong with Mark Jackson relationship with the ownership. One of the reasons why he has not gotten back to coaching ever since.

  • @alasdairmacdonald9838

Personally these workout videos don't mean anything to me. He's already an A1 athlete even by NBA standards his physical tools have never been in questions and they aren't what is holding him back. He's had super inconsistent development because the team can't make up their mind whether they are trying to win now or develop for the future. And we all know Kerr has a fetish for undersized players who play the way he wants them to. What JK really needs to get the sort of role he wants is to be watching film and picking up all the small things in the game that he is either completely unaware of or only does very inconsistently. Things like staying down on defence, taking the right angles on defence, the nuances of body positioning. For a guy of his size and athleticism he gets blown by an awful lot often giving up straight line drives simply because he immediately gets out of position.
None of this is to say he's a terrible player or even just an average one but these are the sort of things that gives Kerr reasons to bench him despite the team desperately needing the physical tools he brings to the court.
I'm less concerned about his jump shot than many others. It will come in time, he just has to focus on taking the best quality shots he can and moving the ball when it obviously makes sense to do so.
Ultimately so long as Steph is the system in Golden State and he, Kerr and Dray are in place I'm not sure this team is where JK is ever going to be truly fulfilled and get the money and the role on the court that he really wants. He's also very clearly not ready to be a number one option yet.

  • @hiz24airness

He needs to have learned playing with Steph that you train 100% at game speed but with higher intensity, which then allows the game to slow down for you and protects your abilities from deteriorating in a game due to fatigue. Kobe did the same things.... and JK is a dude!
But he aint becoming a franchise player unless he takes it from Steph, just like Giannis coming out of nowhere to become the first champion of the new generation of stars.

His footwork upon the catch on jumpers is BAD.. I'm surprised his high-priced trainers don't teach him that.. it should be a 1-2 step upon the catch every time, then the jumper - see John Paxson for proper footwork on catch-and-shoot
