- Follow along with me as I open up to starter packs of the new WARD TRADING CARD GAME game, as well as a prototype pack showing off a couple of test cards!
The new WARD Trading Card Game has players summon fantasy creatures to battle their opponent. WARD does away with the over complex systems of other trading card games and brings things back to the roots of the genre to make it fun again.
WARD has a unique mechanic where you win by having your opponent's graveyard component life total reach a threshold of 300.

I've loved since since I found it last year. whole new battle system and awesome art
For anyone watching, the cards don't stink. They smell like fresh inky cards like a new comic book or something. Just got my first packs today and was wondering about this because halfway through this video says they stink haha. They just smell like ink, but in a good way IMO.
To me, they have an off-putting odor. I used to work in a paper bindery, so I am very familiar with the smell of ink and cardstock. Thank you for watching! :)
It's just a shame that the art is very obviously ai generated. Not really opposed but at least try and hide the ai influences.
Look up the Ward card Dark Lord. Then look up the Yugioh card Zera Ritual. It'll blow your mind how similar they are. I almost bought some Ward cards but after I saw that, it was a no go for me.
the 1st edition art was done by artist Mark Evans, they got a new artist for gen 2 that even shows off his line work. they have publicly come out and said that their 1st prints (legacy) were AI, since they didn't use a kickstarter and wanted to test the waters to see if people even liked it and all of it came out their pockets
