I hope you continue reacting to this show. It's my comfort show. Don't listen to others who say that it went downhill. Don't let it affect your experience and just judge it on your own.
I love that you actually love the show. A majority of the BBT reactions I've seen say they love the show, but nitpick the hell out of it, pointing out how offensive every joke is, including when the jokes are made by nerds, at the expense of nerds, and harping on any perceived inaccuracies. Modern conventional beauty standards in the Western world are fatphobic, transphobic, misogynistic, and ableist. BBT bringing up modern conventional beauty standards doesn't mean the show or its characters are fatphobic, transphobic, misogynistic, or ableist. And even if a character says something offensive, it doesn't mean the character meant any harm (most commonly Sheldon saying something technically correct but socially inappropriate), it doesn't mean that the producers agree with the character's statement, and it doesn't mean the character won't grow throughout the series. It's really nice to see someone just enjoying a show without taking it so seriously.
You'll notice after this that the Sheldon character is changed slightly to have no sexual nor romantic interests and the joke in the first scene about him doing what they are trying to do as an olympic sport wouldn't fit. But that kind of change after a pilot episode is pretty common of many shows. It's a great show.
This show is hilarious. You have met the main cast in the pilot and these 4 hold up this series for years before any others are added. Jim Parsons who portrays Sheldon us a beast, he can make anything funny and when he smells blood, he goes in for the kill and his costars cannot hold in their laughter. This show keeps in many bloopers because they laugh so much.
The sperm bank scene was edited out of reruns. Usually, when you watch this episode on TV, that scene isn't there. It's only there when you watch it on youtube. Leonard, who is a few decades younger than the nurse, solved the nurse's crossword puzzle in a few seconds and she questions his intelligence. Ridiculous. Asking a question doesn't make Leonard stupid. Some people ask questions just to make sure. Better safe than sorry. In fact, smart people ask more questions than necessary because it's in their nature. That's how they become smart, by asking so many questions. The Big Bang Theory is my all-time favorite show, mostly because of Sheldon Cooper. There's a spin-off about him called Young Sheldon which is a little different but equally good.
This is a great show, I hope you watch it until the end. As you keep watching you will however find many inconsistencies and plotholes, I consider it part of its charm, I’d love to see if you notice those. For example, as the show goes on and we learn more about their personalities you’ll realize by how Sheldon reacts to all kinds of physical contact, including with himself, that the intro scene at the sperm bank never could’ve happened. There will also be A TON of guest celebrities that result in amazing episodes. Enjoy the journey 👍🏻
Sheldon Cooper from The Big Bang Theory and Young Sheldon exhibits characteristics of both obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) and autism spectrum disorder (ASD)
Its crazy to think this show had a alternate intro that ended up being scrapped. It would have been a whole different show if they had kept the original cast.
Hi :) nice to see another TBBT reactioner :) btw , you really should do 3 or 4 episodes in 1 video :) because this show is really long :) 12 seasons and there is also spin-off Young Sheldon with 6 seasons and 7th coming probably later this year :) . Anyway enjoy it , it is one of the best shows you can watch :) .
And from what I hear there is another spin off for HBO Max due out in the not to distant future, but no info about it's cast has been given yet. One can hope that at a minimum we get cameos from the original gang.
ruclips.net/p/PL-SOlcxKAXcJKlXC19sZXS3tEPgZeMr5I&si=FUbUGzMXhRJaOGKA This is the first pilot episode that was officially filmed. Jim Petorson was not satisfied and called the production and said that he could do better and that they needed a new recording.
While some of the earlier episodes were good, this show went downhill fast in later seasons. And the laughter track just became so annoying 😞 Many of the jokes weren't funny, but the audience eploded as if its the funniest thing they've ever seen
Blame the audience then. The laugh tracks are live audience's laughter. As for me, i understand them. When you're watching a show you love live, every single thing they do is funny to you. Plus "funny" is subjective. It's not funny to you, but it's funny to them. Both are valid.
@@winesquivel8245 while I get what you are saying, I think a good experiment that could be done these days would be to go back to comedy shows and remove the laughter ( I'm sure they could do this with computers) .. And then watch it. That way your brain isn't fooled into "laughing along because everyone else is laughing", and that way you get a more natural reaction Just my opinion
@@jerryhayes9497 Great but that'd defeat the point of a sitcom now wouldn't it... Don't discourage other people from watching something just because you don't like the humor. Adding onto it fake facts like saying it's a laugh track instead of a live audience... Pretty shitty my guy. Besides which, ever seen 'How I met your mother'? That's considered one of the greats and it didn't have a live audience. Never bothered me. So your singular subjective opinion on a by most people beloved show is kinda irrelevant.

well the later seasons definitely aren’t as good as the old ones but the show does gets too much hate for no reason
Some of my favorite episodes are from the last couple of seasons
Amy and the midget blondie ruined the group chemistry
This whole show is a journey that can pull you in several directions! Hope you enjoy, cause this is only the beginning.

Aww, after the first episode I loved it, seems like my type of show❤️

For me, the most amazing part of BBT is that the gang didn't beat Sheldon to death by the end of Season 1.
I never get bored watching this show
Love this show from start to end. Rewatched all 12 seasons a few times already.

Nooo, as if Olesya is not enough distraction, there now even is Penny. Its too much prettiness at once. 😂
I love this show. There are a lot of jokes that don't hold up, but I love it anyway
Congrats on 10k viewers! I went back to watch ep 1 because I was feeling nostalgic haha
Her laugh at 1:25 is exactly like Sheldon friendly chuckle!😂❤
