The inside of the meat, some parts are still pink, did you have to cook the inside because of some those pink parts that weren't cook or did you eat the hole thing?
AJ the Dragon Slayer I made sure the internal temperature was at 160f, so the meat was fully cooked. Sometimes meatloaf will keep some pink color when there is a lot of onions in the mix. Onions are naturally high in nitrates, which fine with the protein in the meat to prevent oxidation and keeps the meat a pink color. As long as the thermometer reads 160f the meat should be safe to eat despite it's appearance. Thanks for the question!

@@VideoGameBookClub the middle of that dish was made from ground beef then covered with a much thicker piece of beef. When he cut it at the end you could see that the ground beef was partially raw which means that it didn't cook properly. That means that any bacteria inside of that ground beef would still be very much alive. Like OP mentioned I'm also not a fan of the inside. To leave on a positive note, I think that the exterior looks amazing and extremely close to what we would see in MHW!

Twelve20two you can certainly refrigerate it for a bit if you'd like. You can mix up the meat in the morning, put it in the fridge and cook it at night. Letting it sit like that can give the meat time to rest and soak up the egg and milk. It might even taste better with some chill time!
