When you get the new carpet installed wetting it with water from a pump up sprayer then letting it dry will help flatten out the wrinkles from being in the shipping box.

The 62 was the best looking of all the early years of the Falcon design. You put the right motor in it too. looking good.

When brakes are bad and carpet needs installed, always choose the carpet as first priority.

Use tannin treatment to get the rust out , its a special type of carpet stain remover, use on the doors.
Looks like a great car , all mats are factory, I believe the carpets were available as a option.
