    Thank you for this great video. I have been trying to learn more about tuning, not because I want to do it on my own car, but wanted to get some basic info on process/etc.

    Stock intercooler? I’ve been deciding on for green or this turbo, I have evo 8 so no mivec, I want quick response and good top end, I’m worried if I go green I loose spool, is the 71hta good top end?

      Can't have both, 71 is almost the same as green maybe a bit smaller

    Hey bro, is this car on MAF? In your experience, what’s the power difference between SD and MAF, provided that the ignition timing, boost and AFR are similar?

      Can't tell you exactly how much hp but there is a difference because of the restriction of the maf. The Evo x not so much below 800whp

      @@bdalchemist I’m running MAF on my Evo 8, stock block, stock 9 turbo, Tomei 270 Pro cams. Would I see a noticeable improvement in power/torque switching to SD on my set up? Btw, I live in Bangladesh and we don’t have a dyno, so I am limited to road tuning.

      I think it's smaller then the new style green. It uses the stock Evo 9 mhi housing

    Good turbo, on my 8 no cams made 400whp 383tq e85 Evo 9 turbo

      This turbo uses the Evo 9 mhi housing , it's smaller then the green.

    Great work bro, any reason why the power start dropping off at peak RPMs ?

      "peak rpm"? I set the red line for the dyno a little higher to get data. Also turbo just slightly bigger then stock , it cannot hold boost past a certain point, by red line it's at 22-24psi. This is a midrange turbo not a drag.

    Do you prefer tuning on the stock ecu or a standalone?

      Stand alone easier to tune and has alot more useful features. But nothing runs as good as stock it's also pretty close. I'm comfortable with both.
