    Just needs holes on the bottom and a tray for catching water. Beautiful !

      I think the plastic pots have the holes and the resin pieces are basically what's acting as the tray, just all around it

      I like to keep plants in their plastic pots! That way i can move them around into different pots if i want 😊

    Love it! What was the second pour of resin you put in the clear one? It looked like that same opalescent film? Why 2 separate pours? I'd pour the second one but with all film/glitters about 10 mins later so it doesnt settle. I've been working with UV resin for the past 2 years. But a&b I've mastered the glitter disbursement throughout the resin. It was quite the trial and error process

    LOVE LOVE LOVE this. Ben wanting to make plant pots since I started resin. How do you keep the mould material from sticking in the can?

    • @SeriouslyCreative
      @SeriouslyCreative  2 года назад +1

      Because it's silicone you can just peel it out. Using mold release would also help 💖

    Hi what do you use to colour the resin?

  • @staceys9323
    @staceys9323 3 года назад

    If you were to create holes at the bottom of the pot, what material could you use to create holes that would not adhere to the resin?

    • @SeriouslyCreative
      @SeriouslyCreative  3 года назад

      You can drill through resin easily! Or just use a small piece of silicone or plastic. I don't like to plant straight into resin pots though, the resin can leech into the soil and isn't good for the plant

    One question. What type of glaze/ointment should I use after sanding the resin for it to get its shine back??

    • @SeriouslyCreative
      @SeriouslyCreative  3 года назад +1

      I usually just use a clear shiny acrylic spray! Or you could use resin as a top coat depending on the surface you're trying to shine

    could you just put the soil right in so you can see the roots growing through the resin?

    • @SeriouslyCreative
      @SeriouslyCreative  3 года назад

      You could! I prefer not to put my plants straight into a decorative pot though, just better for the plants health

    • @MrJoelDavies
      @MrJoelDavies 3 года назад

      @@SeriouslyCreative ah ok thanks for the reply!
      Will the direct sunlight to the soil/roots damage it then?
      I was thinking of trying it with an Orchid which would probably be fine considering how it grows, but It would be cool to try it with other plants. Not if it will kill them though.
