Highly recommended to everyone who wants to understand the basics of using a daggerboard under different circumstances. Well done, mate! 😄

Thanks for the video, very informative...looking at taking Windsurfing up again. Tried it with my Dads old Mistral Maui that he used in the 80s, I wasn't really into the sport was more into surfing. Wish I learnt more off him.

One of the things about Windsurfing i love is how difficult it is and there is always motivation to improve. Ive been into it 4 seasons and pending any injuries that no doubt will happen feel that it is a life sport

Thanks for the video and explanation. Just took delivery of a 2011 Funster and, while not keen on the added weight, am definitely glad I'll have the Algeier option on those spotty days out on the lake, when it'd be nice to get back to the car lol

Enjoy Ben! Im trying to learn waterstarting so i can be more confident with the smaller 112 ltr Gecko in the open sea. For now, the bigger 145 ltr JP board is still by choice for windy sea days. Still a heap of fun on the plane and i know im safe to get home. When i can waterstart well then i might not use the JP as much. Cheers.

@@beginnerwindsurfer2589 Thanks, mate! Yeah, that's definitely on the to-do list for me as the water temps warm up. Once I (hopefully) can do that pretty consistently, I'll move to a 97L JP Magic Ride I'll use on the high wind days in the warmer months. In the meanwhile, I'm looking forward to having the Funster for those shoulder season months where it's a lot funner to be gliding over the water than in it! Good luck with the H20-starting!
