Yay! I've been looking for an Spen alternative for quite some time now, for I literally JUST got Clip Studio Paint today! I'm still learning all the animation features, but I think having an alternative to my current Spen would be awesome! I draw and animate on my Tab S9FE+ a whole LOT, so this will be very useful! Thank you for the video Carri! It was very informative, and as always, finding your cozy content is like finding gold on top of the fact that your art is so cute!
OOOh that's so cool ദ്ദി ˉ͈̀꒳ˉ͈́ )✧ Glad I could help! Clip studio is my favorite drawing program, also they have an animation feature as well. I personally have not tried it but I've heard good things about it (♡ˊ͈ ꒳ ˋ͈) so happy you find my videos useful, (づ> v
@@Carritube You're literally the most WHOLESOME content creator I've found that makes art. 🥺🥺🥺Thank you for doing what you do! Also- you have a good weekend as well!
Actually it's not for everyone Wacom model 😭 only for the Wacom One pen displays sadly, which is their more budget pen display, I'm not sure it works for other models 😞 apologies for the confusion
Hi I've came across your video and I've bought myself the same pen that you've been recommended! And omg I absolutely LOVE it!! It felt like it was made for me ❤️ Thank you I definitely needed a replacement badly because my old pen just recently broke in half 😅
So glad I came across this video as I’ve been looking for a new EMR pen for my S9 Ultra, as I too didn’t feel too comfortable using the SPen and the Wacom One Pen for drawing for long periods. My hand always ends up hurting and cramping up due to the pens being too thin 😔. Not only is this pen so cute, it also looks promising ergonomically so I definitely bought the pen afterwards 👀 (sorry wallet). Thank you for the video and your art is amazing! Cant wait to see more :)🫶🏼✨!
I have the same tablet (s9 ultra) and I was wondering how you got on with your Wacom pen? For me the spen is too thin and I still haven’t gotten used to the air movements 😅
Hi! Thank you for this video! Did you wver get to try it with the metal nib? If yes, how did it hold up? Is there any loss of sensitivity with the pen with the metal nib?
just the video i was loooking for. hate the slim feel of the spen . bought one of these before i found your video. i loved dr grip in the past for pencils/pens for note taking. and i hope the wacom emr tech doesnt dissapoint on my tab s9 ultra / s9 fe
Have you ever used the lamy emr? I wanted to get an S pen alternative for note taking as the regular S pen seems a bit too thin for my comfort and i was torn between the lamy, the noris jumbo and now this
I think it comes down to personal preference since they all do the same thing, I prefer this wacom s pen because of the design and the squishy part makes it really comfortable drawing long periods of time, The lamy pen was not really my style and it looked uncomfortable since it's very skinny and I was also very expensive, The Norris jumbo would be my second favorite since the design is like a regular pencil and it's thick enough compared to the very first pencil that I had
are there any s-Pen alternative with a tip like the Ugee M708 tip? I dont want another tip stuck in my s-pen, which led to the desctruction of my original s-pen. if that tip still somehow gets stuck, atleast it cant be as deep as the spen then
Hi I love your artwork I know this question has nothing to do with this video but I've been binge watching your channel for a while and you say you want to become an animator but I haven't seen you animate anything yet I was wondering if he does keep your practices private or do you just want to focus on the Journey of an animation
Thanks so much for the support ╰(*´︶`*)╯ makes me happy that your interested in my journey, I haven't done much animation work I'm super proud of yet, for now I'm mostly documenting what I'm learning since I don't feel very confident yet, I do plan on making animated storytimes in the future and animating funny memes once I feel more confident
It came with two in the packaging, I switched over to a metal nibs because I recently got the paperlike screen protector, planning on making a follow up video about that next week. Those suggestions seems like a good options as well
It's the same technology pretty much without the Bluetooth features of the S-pen, there's not many Wacom products that this is compatible with compared with Samsung, I'm trying to reach other users that have Samsung devices like me with the title and thumbnail, also Wacom and Samsung has a long term partnership, I don't think I'm being misleading
@@Carritube I see what you mean in that case then, sure but Samsungs and Wacoms contract has nothing to do with other companies having a contract with Wacom as well. There are a LOT of other companies nowadays that make use of Wacoms emr technology like Lenovo, Fujitsu, Acer. There are pens such as the lamy and Mitsubishi digital pens that also use Wacoms emr which I recommend you check out as well. Though the majority of users will probably use samsung because they have the largest amount of android compatible devices. There not being a lot of Wacom compatible devices makes sense, this type of wacom emr is a cheaper digitizer meant to be licensed out to other companies, Wacom has no point in or profit having these pens be compatible with their high end tablets since they have higher standards and Wacom wouldn't make as much money that way, we all know how greedy Wacom can be nowadays. Wacom themselves only use this on their cheapest line, the Wacom one which is aimed for beginners. Even then I can't find anyone else listing/calling it an S pen, the closest I found was someone generalizing all of the Wacom emr pens as "s pen" with air quotes. It's an s pen alternative but straight up calling it an S pen is like calling a computer a playstation just because you can play playstation games on steam. Or calling coca cola a mcdonalds drink when buying it from burger king just because both sell it in different cups. Not trying to be rude, just stating my opinion. The video itself is a nice review though and your collection is impressive. I like how the pen looks and I am a fan of the original Dr grip.

Does it have replacement nibs
I don't know that they do. I've been using Staedtler nibs, soft on Amazon.
They do I recommend buying staedtler nibs instead since the wacom replacement nibs are expensive

It's an s pen alternative sure but It's not an s pen, it's a wacom/pilot product not a samsung product. Calling it an s pen is kind of misleading.
