Bought your cutter's big brother a few weeks ago and love it. Cutting is totally new to me but I have it running sweet already. There are a few CE7000 videos out there from Graphtec America Inc but watch those for the CE600 too as they work much the same.
You shouldn't need to adjust the blade height, just the downforce pressure for reach material. Most material that you buy will have a suggested pressure.
Have you tried perf cut yet? I'm ordering ce7000-60 in a few days, I'll use it most for cutting paper (gift boxes, invitations etc..). I read that there is a small channel in strip so blade can't damage strip.
NSdomestic I haven’t tried anything crazy yet. I will say that this is a huge step up from what I was used to with the silhouette but I have all weekend to try to learn.
How thick is the media you are cutting? I am trying to find some more info about this cutter and we are printing on a thin magnetic backed paper and want to know if it would cut through. Graphtec tech support was less than helpful.

im looking to buy one as well, a 24" preferably ... i currently have a cameo 3 (very reliable but too slow)
my cameo cut sloppy and honestly just isnt good at all
