Looks great just be mindful of those christmas lights starting a fire. The bulbs cant shed their heat anywhere but into the cord so just be aware of that. Ultimately kt will transfer that heat into the outlet which may or may not be able to handle it
@mysteriousbikingsociety a polite warning to those who understand why you don't take the heat sink away from any electrical system even if that heat sink is the air. You know. Instead of saying something like "hey dumbass, that's gonna start a fire" and not explaining how or why. Not that it will, just that it can. coiling the wire around itself and replacing the air with an insulating foam is a great way to overheat: the bulbs, the wire attached to the bulbs, the plug, the outlet connected to the plug, the wires in your wall, and anything else that will accept heat transfer more readily than insulating foam. You read a tip from the laws of thermodynamics as to why Christmas lights have a book full of warnings. Also for those who don't know LEDs produce more heat than incandescent, it just happens at the mosfets/ circuit boards rather than the element itself. Try to learn how the world around you works, at least a little bit; it's crazy how some things seem so innocent, yet can be deadly.
@@alb8158 no I get what that means but I highly doubt enough heat would be transferred to an outlet, enough to make it fail. It would rather (I think) transfer to the flammable foam and make it catch fire first right?
Always hold spraypaint vertically if you can. Put your box up on a table and stand the thing your painting up. The paint lasts longer and paints more evenly. The can and the spray tip are not designed to be pointed downward.
@discoverFigureitout some cans are made to be sprayed upside down but those only come in certain colors to paint lines on concrete and grass. The vast majority of spray cans (paint, hairspray, cleaners, shaving cream) should be held vertically and they spray horizontally. There's a straw inside and if you tilt it at an angle it sprays the propellant gas instead of what you intended to spray. Eventually you end up with 1/4 of a can that no longer sprays. It makes the most difference with paint because you'll end up with bare spots and possibly end up with too much paint on other spots from needing to use more coats of paint.
