Subahanallah. People tend to freak out when I mention that I pray five times a day. Little do they know how the Almighty facilitates our prayers. There are moments where I have been hesitant to pray because of certain circumstances (I.e missing out on something or because I am in what appears to be a confronting environment with racists). However, when I challenge myself and begin the prayer, those very things I was worried about turn into a blessing (i.e. I get to places earlier, I find a perfect space to perform my prayer, the people I was so concerned about praying near act as though they cannot even see me and everything thereafter goes so smoothly). I learnt that there is never an excuse to miss my prayers. Also, I wouldn’t pray on someone’s property without asking. I would much rather pray near my vehicle on the side of the road.
