We’re ripping down the ceiling in our 1780s tavern to get at the upstairs plumbing, fixing the living room ceiling, building a main floor laundry room from a porch and making a bathroom out of two closets::: whew.! I hope! Looks great and I love the sconces!

What the heck?! I always tried using that bad for the trim and cutting in and it always sucks. Yours looks awesome! Great job for figuring that out lol. Maybe I should give it a try again. I always just end up free handing it without tape. But super time consuming.

If you want to keep the sconces I would get rid of the lamps on your night stands and put them on either side of the headboard. Because it’s so tall maybe you could just move the sconces and the sign up more. I’d probably do a little gallery wall where you have your wedding canvas with the sign and just put a wreath hanging above your headboard. But I have a wreath addiction 😂 I have a really big sign above our bed and a wreath on each side of it. Wish I could attach a picture here. Crystal it is stunning !!! Oh paint colors! I am getting ready to paint my whole inside! All rooms! We had them shiplapped 2 years ago. I have left them unstained and unpainted to make sure of what I want! I want white walls and white trim! LOL!!! Out of the 1000 of whites! Yikes! But I love that light gray tones... oh boy...more to consider! I use a lot of the blacks, whites,creams ...farmhouse feel/look like you do. I have to take In to consideration my coloring of my hardwood floors. They draw a golden oak tone. Which looks great with black! I have painted some furniture black and it looks great. So hard... I want to be on a show where a Designer comes in.... I leave for 2 days and come home to “ Oh I LOVE IT! “.... LOL!!! Nice nice work...it truly is stunning !

I will be working on my bedroom as well and doing few updates through the year in some other rooms. The furniture definitely brings the room together great along with new wall color.

Looks fantastic! We just ripped out all the flooring (carpet) upstairs and replaced it with beautiful wood-like waterproof floors. It made a huge difference. BTW you remind me of Cameron Diaz a little. Do you ever get that?

I am contemplating which paint color to use in our main living open-concept area. I’m torn between Repose Gray and Agreeable Gray. Since you painted your walls downstairs Repose Gray and bedroom Agreeable Gray what are your thoughts? The area I need to paint is north-facing and doesn’t have a great deal of natural light. Your master bedroom looks amazing! You maybe have mentioned this before, but where did you purchase the sliding barn door to your closet? We are going to install one on our master bath doorway in the next couple months...might make a trip to Menards(Grand forks), and thought maybe that’s where you bought yours. Also, did it come painted white or did you have to paint it yourself because it looks like Menards online has unfinished pine barn doors.

The room is beautiful Crystal . The frame above the bed I'd paint the trim around it black I think it would blend with the other accents of black you have around the room. I've done that with a few of mine and it just changes it up so nicely. I think the beautiful Saying would pop even more also. I've also repainted the words on a few of my signs It makes it like a whole new sign for pennies. Have a Great Weekend

Absolutely beautiful. You really amaze me with your ability to use a drill and put shelves up. I've never used one so have to wait weeks till I get someone to come and do it. This year I'm decorating my kitchen. I want a retro coffee bar feel. I'm currently saving so i can buy a tiered tray. They're hard to get in the UK and the ones available are expensive. TFS xx
Everything looks beautiful, Crystal! I think I’d either move the sconces further apart or take them out. Too much going on in that small area. Love the gray pillow on the bed .... it tied everything in. When I saw the color and the bed I was thinking you could put those Walmart pillows from the other video in this room and they would be perfect and they are! Where did you find the round galvanized tray on your dresser?
The bedroom looks great. It does look so much brighter and yet at night I think it would be a warm and comfy vibe. Crystal, if I saw it correctly it looks like you have a textured ceiling. If it is popcorn ceiling I want to warn you not to paint over it. I learned that the hard way. It sucks up lots of paint and to eventually remove it, after it's been painted, is soooo much more difficult. To scrape it off prior to painting is quite easy (but messy). All you need is a squirt bottle of water and a scraper. Again, the bedroom looks great, congrats on a job well done.

Love the paint color, may use it myself. That paint edger looks amazing and saves a lot of time. Maybe put the scones a couple inches higher and out towards the edge of the headboard. Beautiful furniture, I like it.

Love the new makeover. The headboard is awesome. Everything came together so nicely. Definitely more farmhouse (which I love) and it does look bigger and more inviting.🙂

I am contemplating which paint color to use in our main living open-concept area. I’m torn between Repose Gray and Agreeable Gray. Since you painted your walls downstairs Repose Gray and bedroom Agreeable Gray what are your thoughts? The area I need to paint is north-facing and doesn’t have a great deal of natural light. Your master bedroom looks amazing! You maybe have mentioned this before, but where did you purchase the sliding barn door to your closet? We are going to install one on our master bath doorway in the next couple months...might make a trip to Menards(Grand forks), and thought maybe that’s where you bought yours. Also, did it come painted white or did you have to paint it yourself because it looks like Menards online has unfinished pine barn doors.
You paint with such ease. Since subscribing to your channel you have inspired me to paint my kitchen, living room and both bathrooms. I dislike painting but I love the feeling of accomplishment. I’m planning to completely do over my 17year old son’s bedroom. His room was decorated 9 years ago when we moved into this house.
The room is beautiful Crystal . The frame above the bed I'd paint the trim around it black
I think it would blend with the other accents of black you have around the room.
I've done that with a few of mine and it just changes it up so nicely. I think the beautiful
Saying would pop even more also. I've also repainted the words on a few of my signs
It makes it like a whole new sign for pennies.

Everything looks beautiful, Crystal! I think I’d either move the sconces further apart or take them out. Too much going on in that small area. Love the gray pillow on the bed .... it tied everything in. When I saw the color and the bed I was thinking you could put those Walmart pillows from the other video in this room and they would be perfect and they are! Where did you find the round galvanized tray on your dresser?

The bedroom looks great. It does look so much brighter and yet at night I think it would be a warm and comfy vibe. Crystal, if I saw it correctly it looks like you have a textured ceiling. If it is popcorn ceiling I want to warn you not to paint over it. I learned that the hard way. It sucks up lots of paint and to eventually remove it, after it's been painted, is soooo much more difficult. To scrape it off prior to painting is quite easy (but messy). All you need is a squirt bottle of water and a scraper. Again, the bedroom looks great, congrats on a job well done.

Love the paint color, may use it myself. That paint edger looks amazing and saves a lot of time. Maybe put the scones a couple inches higher and out towards the edge of the headboard. Beautiful furniture, I like it.

I love your room!! I would remove the sconces, it just looked cleaner? without them... Plus the table lamps are already right below so it kind of doesn't make sense? I love the seatee it looks so cozy in that corner just need some blankets on that ladder. You did amazing Crystal!
