Elmo Super 8 Stereo Test Film 2K 4K Scanning

This is the Demo Elmo had made for their GS1200 Super 8 projector. This is probably the finest Super 8 projector made. My print has gone magenta but due to the magic of digital color correction I was able it to restore this. I scanned it in 2K (2048 x 1556) and RUclips 4K. The correction was done using the scanner inter automated system.

I love the way the color came back on this . There is another sample of this test film on RUclips which is what this film actually looks like. Maybe I'll do a before an after.

Basses on the left, trebbles on the right... it gests better after 2:30 .... thank yoiu for sharing this rare film

Elmo sound projectors were perhaps the best available but Super 8 mag stripe sound was capable of better fidelity than this. Mag stripe magnetic heads wore quickly. This Elmo's left channel magnetic head may be worn or dirty. Possibly a magnetised left channel head.
