The issues with boats in GTA V and Online is more due to the map design, as you can see, there's almost no water activity in the center of the map except for the Alamo Sea, even this one doesn't have anything special, an lack of large rivers and lakes crossing the map, makes activities in water come down to the oceans around the map, and the ocean in GTA V, although it is very vivid and detailed when you submerge, there's nothing special at the top and it's just a giant blue flatline, the lack of major islands and the lack of need to use water to cross the map as there are better options means that there's no utility for boats, and how the activities are always in the oceans, that I already mentioned, there is nothing special on the surface, makes them boring, that's why rockstar doesn't invest much in them in GTA V Now with GTA VI there is hope, because from what you can see, there are a lot more waters in the map asides from the ocean, due to florida having more swamps and rivers than Califórnia and Los Angeles, maybe there will be a good amount water activities outside the ocean, and let's still hope that the GTA VI map has more islands in addition to the main cities, like private islands or simply desert islands surrounded by nature, so that activities in the ocean don't get boring
as someone who own s 2 jet ski's, 2 pontoon boats, a fishing boat, and used to own a glastron and sea doo speed boats. i can tell you that they did a pretty decent job with the boats. the handling, speed, and air time you get based on the size of the wave all seemed pretty accurate. more accurate than the cars for sure

I'm definitely hoping to see Powerboats, Jet-boats, hovercraft, maybe a paddle boat just for the sheer meme of it. An RC boat might also be a neat idea for a remote explosive. Proper sailboats would also be cool. Sure, the Marquis is a sail boat, but its forced to use the motor instead of actually *sailing* Pretty sure the Rio is coming to GTA 6, but time will tell.
That sounds a hell of a lot more interesting than a hanger. You could move it for a price and save tons of time. Zancudo and LSIA can join the graveyard with Maze Bank Arena. 😂
I probably won't buy GTA 6 until 2027 due to a very high chance of the game costing over 100$ CAD so i would much rather wait for it to launch onc pc because i know i'll enjoy having it on pc more then having it on xbox
Seriously hoping boats become a useful mode of transit in GTA 6, dependant on map layout. Would be nice to be able to rip around the map and save time vs highways or something by using a boat.
It would be epic if in gta the cargo ships aren’t static objects, but they actually load and unload cargo, arrive in the port and leave after a while, it would make the port actually come to life, fingers crossed
What bugs me the most is that why Kosatka doesn't have a Sea Sparrow instead of regular Sparrow. They could at least give us an upgradable option.
