Como en el parque de Chicago o de alguna otra gran ciudad moderna, sin salir de Roma. Pero los árboles de copa alta y el cielo son inconfundibles. Gracias RI!

Nice park. However, it is curious to walk trought a Roman park without looking at the ruins of ancient Roma.
The preservation of Roman ruins leaves much more money than the construction of modern buildings.
    Good job.

True Juan, but in fact the peculiarity of the Eur district is precisely the modernity in a context like that of Rome which is usually centuries old. It's a kind of reverse charm. 😀 Having said that, the charm of antiquity is always unparalleled. 🙂👍

Romans exist now, they are called Italians. Modern Italians *use* modern buildings to live, study, work, enjoy themselves. Italians don't live from tourists visiting ruins only; Italy is the eighth largest economy in the world and the third largest in the European Union.
Are you sure that "the preservation of Roman ruins leaves much more money than the construction of modern buildings"? Did the States became the largest economy by preservation of ruins only? (Yes, they do have ruins)
