Excellent video. I use Wire mold a lot. Actually, adding another outlet today to existing wire mold Your right about the small screws that hold on the box. Haven't really seen the round wire mold at my local Lowes outlet. Good idea about the drywall screws. I will use drywall screws today. Another thing the 2-hole strap there is a small Nitch on the inside that will snap in place on the wire mold channel.
All of you who don't like the look of emt you can always paint it and the fastners or make your own wood trim to hide it. And they do make compression couplings instead of grub screw type that do look ugly even when painted lol And also great video on wire mold basics

And the video that I found from Legrand did not install many components and did not answer all of my questions. For instance, how big is the Tee connector? Is it big enough to connect 14 gauge hot, neutral and ground wires with wirenuts? (I assume so, but want to verify.) Also, can I buy bushings and clips separately? Or do I have to buy them as part of the accessory pack, which includes parts that I do not need and will just wastefully discard.
Good question I honestly have never put wire nuts inside a t before. And yes if you go to an electrical supply house you can get those parts usually separate. Big box stores probably not. I appreciate you watching and commenting ☺
No need for bushings in each end of the wire mold? I just had to reroute some wiring in a room. After talking to my nephew electrician, he advised me to use the bushing that came in the kit.

@@MountaineerOutdoors hello. I wanted to update you on my wiremold installation. the metal wiremold ended up being too small for my needs so I went with the plastic version cordmate II. It did the trick perfectly. Also since it was plastic I just used my multitool to cut it to length. I was just barely able to cram 4 ethernet cables into it.
A couple of reasons one is the insulation is too thick for the wiremold. Second according to code the wires must be labeled and only THHN wire is labeled for each wire.
I know that you are asking this question here on the wiremold video, but if you are referring to conduit there is a code that you must follow and I am working on that video.
I'm a little curious about the end of the Romex feeding the receptacle on the board being "stabbed" into the female end of the green drop cord. Wouldn't it be much safer to install a cord cap on the end of the 12/2? Just saying.......

What would you use instead if all the walls are concrete block and you're in a type 1/2/3 building? Surface EMT? I'm sure the biggest reason to wire mold is because it's less expensive

So if it's existing then I wouldn't use anything I would tell them get someone else I don't do wire mold or plug mold. The only other way is to run EMT or rigid and let them strip the walls and cover it with sheetrock. If you build a building out of concrete block or brick and you don't put stuff in the wall that's your fault.
The website for the wiremold says for 500 14 Guage you can put 7 for 12 Guage 5 and for 10's you can put 3 for 700 14 Guage 10, 12 Guage 7 & for 10 Guage 4 total. Hope that helps

Last year I add 3 new 110 outlets in our laundry room using the 500 molding. I found it easy to install after watching several installments videos………

Depends on the straps used.
How many circuits can you put in 500 series amd how many circuits in 700?
