Hi ! Vy Could you please make a video on how you landed a PhD position at oxford, the approach , the interview part, the resume and everything. Especially focusing on research experience etc.
I like watching your videos, seeing you culture cell is therapeutic. Your channel have the best videos on biology wet lab. Hopefully you update more often, it is good to see your career grow.
I'm watching you since day 1 . M really proud of you! Can you please tell me for phd in computational biology at Oxford what I need to know atleast about IT before starts to apply?
Hey Vy! Since you’re from Malaysia, I’d love to get your opinion on Taylor's University. I’m an international student currently in my AS levels, and I’m thinking about applying to TU for a Bachelor's in Biomedical Sciences next. Do you think it’s worth it? P.S. I love your editing style!! Best of luck at Oxford! 😊
@@simas5983 when I was working as an RA I saw how the bioinformaticians at my company were able to do these really cool analyses and predictions of all different cell types, and being able to do that gives you so much flexibility with your research question! Additionally, going into the lab every day doesn’t align with the career lifestyle I’m going for, so I also wanted a job that could provide me more opportunities to wfh. So it was both due to personal interest and career development 😊
Congrats! Malaysian here. Having pre-drinks at your college's gorgeous library is such a flex.
Finally your phd vlog is out! You inspired me to become an undergraduate RA, waiting your vlog in the lab!

Can you please suggest how and which software we need minimum requirements beforehand to learn to get a chance in computational field
I know its still 50/50 but what made you want to move away from wet lab to be more involved with dry lab too?
