What do you think about the current situation? Can the Indie companies really replace the big corporations or is this just a phase... will the quality of the games get worse or better?
You're 100% right about the current situation. My favorite games are Diablo 1 and D2 (D2R), Castlevania: Symphony of the night, Titan Quest, THPS 1+2, 3, 4, The Witcher 3, Legend of Zelda and No rest for the wicked. Looking forward to PoE 2, Titan Quest 2, Witcher 1 Remake, Witcher 4.
@@springmaus1632 Witcher 4? I think we have to wait at least 3 or more years before we even see a trailer of that… and if they release it like Cyberpunk then it will be another disaster.
Totally agree! My steam library/wishlist is filled with indies. I held off on no rest for the wicked when it came out because people complained of performance and balance issues, but I may have to pick it up now. If anyone's into old style pixel art games that feel like zelda try Faeland. I just picked it up and am loving it so far. Definitely play it on controller if you do tho, the mnk control are strange.
I feel the same way! It’s easier to make games nowadays then it was 10 years ago and I’m glad to see so many new indie titles coming out and overshadowing this big corporations.

'Remember the last game when you lost track of time' - yes, it was No Rest For The Wicked and Hades 2 😂
Totaly agree! NRftW is like a dream come true : hype by the lore, exploration, loot, arts, mecanics, animation, levels, and mostly the dev creativity!

I completely agree and would love to see more NRFTW content :)
Wayfinder is a much better game now that it's a single player/co-op game instead of a live service game.
