I have about 500 miles on it now and I swear it is atleast 25% louder than when I first got it installed. The cold start is a beast! First! Great video and I see no obstruction with the ACS Inserts.👍🏽 I have to keep my NPP with a wife who is a nurse and works 12hr night shifts. That stealth mode is a must when creeping out mid morning or day and she’s asleep. 😆😆😆
Put mine on at 400 miles at the Chevy dealership, service writer said it was way better than any others they installed and the whole shop came over and had to see what all the awesome sound was about. Its loud enough lol it will draw enough attention and definitely turn a cops ear. Sounds exactly like mine even over the internet.

Just installed my AWE Touring exhaust BUT please tell me it will get louder as I break it in. AWE claims 700-1500 miles before it fully sets in. Did you find that with yours? I like the fact there is a conversion kit for the track version …I may go to that option if required. Outside of that I love the quality, fit and finish and the 4.5 black diamond tips are MINT!! Great video- thx!!!
Yes mine got louder about 500 miles in. I’ve ridden in a C8 with the conversion kit. There was too much drone for me. To be honest, it’s so loud now. During cold starts I plug my ears if I’m in the garage when it starts.

I’m in the same situation as you there’s only one company that does it and it’s called powerstop. I decided not to do it because they are not as good as the OEM rotors.
@@kishorepothuri - I personally cut mine out with some tin snips. I don’t like the way it looks through the grill. I removed the AWE logo. Mine is a 2023 and fit perfectly.
I went on AWE’s website and there’s 2 types of touring systems. The one like yours for $2995 and one for $2000. What’s the difference between the two systems?
My bad. Just noticed the system that’s around $2000 is the track system. What’s your opinion on the track system. Do you think that one could be too loud?
Honestly, I’ve heard both. And they’re pretty much the same. But I’d pay the extra money for the touring because believe me that drone will get to you after a while. I’ve had a car with drone before and it actually made me nauseous.

@@ProtectiveDadPranks I really want the Eventuri but I’m just not sure what kind of difference to expect to see and at it’s price point I would hope that I could get some better track times. I’ve only had my c8 for two months and I’ve been focused on interior upgrades but I just finished them today so I plan on starting performance. Right now, I just have the attack blue air filter (I actually did a 2.6 launch a few weeks ago. It’s on my IG). But I plan on upgrading the exhaust, tires, wheels, and COI asap.
I’ve heard some don’t put it on. Mine is actually on. I just cut out the AWE logo and then installed it. I’m not big on permanent advertising for companies if I can help it. I just feel it takes away from the rear end with a big logo showing though.
What’s the price? I almost brought the GM option but found out it wasn’t a true borla attack - more like the borla touring Would have been nice to pick it up from the dealer with the “right exhaust” it should have came with! TPW late June so I’m researching options
@@vincew.6905 - yes. I really looked at doing a Borla but I just don’t like the exhaust tips for one. They look cheap and I also just think it sounds a little bit too robust for a Corvette. It doesn’t sound like a Corvette to me. When I took my car to the car show this past weekend I know kidding started it up at least 10 times cause people wanted to keep on hearing the exhaust. It sounds so good.
Also random question are the tips interchangeable or are they welded to the resonator? Like if I had black tips today and wanted chrome tips later on is that something that could be done?

@@anthonykiedis1765 - please let me know where that is stated because that was never said. The 2023 C8 Corvette always goes back to touring mode. It was an update. Even when you’ve been driving in My Mode.

While that is true, if you turn the car off in my mode it will always start back up in my mode with the selected settings. That's the work around to get the car to start in the loudest setting with the active exhaust.
@@anthonykiedis1765 - that’s literally not true. You can even google it if you’d like. Not to mention. There is no LOUD sound when it comes to the stock exhaust. The stock exhaust is not loud at all. Go start a stock exhaust next to any after market exhaust and you’ll be humbled real quick. Stock sucks.
Honestly the best sounding C8 exhaust I have heard. Also love the idea of it being quite when you want it that way.

Now that you have had the AWE exhaust for a while, have you had any trouble with heat? Also, have you had to retighten any of the clamps? Thanks!

How loud is it on morning cold start? I leave at 5am to go to work. I know with corsa you can keep npp exhaust to still have it quiet.

The heat shield provided by AWE doesn’t fit on my C8 2023 Bumper? Looks like it was incorrectly cut at the factory, do we absolutely need it?

Track and Touring. You want touring unless you want drone when driving.

How has this and your cold air intake affected your 0-60/ 0-100 times?
From what I can tell it’s pretty obvious it’s quicker. Not sure about the times. But you can definitely tell the difference!

How does this compare to the borla atak? I’m between these 2 systems I like that the borla system keeps npp
IMO the Borla just sounds too deep for a Corvette. It sounds like a totally different Corvette in a very odd way.

Kind of a moot point now, but if you turn the active exhaust up the entire way in "my mode", the car will start in the loudest setting.
It’s not that loud in my mode. Stock exhaust is weak.
