Love this, you’re like the only person I’ve seen talk about SS being a lore reboot and it makes total sense.
This is all mind-blowing. I think these theories are 100% spot-on. It makes SO much sense, and I had no ounce of realization along these lines when they started introducing us to Tears of the Kingdom.
So looking forward to more of your content, while also keeping myself in check to be able to enjoy the Tears of the Kingdom experience purely, through my own eyes lol (I didn't get BOTW for a while after it was out, and couldn't resist seeing so much about it that I had a decent familiarity with it before actually playing it myself. I plan on taking TOTK slowly ☺️)

I dont think Zelda herself would have forgotten the lore of the Triforce. I think her father most likely had her tutors drill that into her head, along with how all important her duty was, above all else.
The rest of Hyrule has definitely forgotten, and lost, much.
I don’t think anyone in Hyrule during the time of BOTW knew much about the triforce or the log goddesses- I think some history may have been lost.

Impa, Purah, Robbie.. King Dorephan. Deku Tree. Of course, this doesn't count the spirits, great fairies, Koroks, and dragons that are the embodiment of the remnants of the ancient lore.

You mean the LOZ goddesses? Nayru Din and Farore created everything from the land laws and people, and Hylia protects the people. There’s 4 goddesses

Great, informative video! I especially loved how you craftily threw in Groose falling onto Link from the sky. That part always made me laugh. Lol!
I am really excited to see if Zelda will finally be more important in this coming one since I felt she played a stronger role, despite us not being able to see her trials, in Skyward Sword. Their bond was so much more palpable in that game, as well as OOT and I am wishing to feel that again in the coming game. Not to mention, if she managed to hold down Calamity for 100 years, we know she's not going to go back to the insecure, helpless person she came off as in BOTW.
Hopefully we will get some insight on all this in the direct!

I feel like the battle with Ganon in the next game is going to be a fight to remember. I know in most games the boss fights aren’t too difficult to fight and is more of figuring out their weakness, but I hope this one does have some challenge even when you know his weakness.
I think it’s fair to say that Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom take place pretty early in the timeline. If anybody remembers, in Wind Waker, the Tower of The Gods has a theme surrounding technology. This technology has the same blue color as the Sheikah Tech. After all, the Ocarina of Time map looks a bit similar to The Great Plateau and WW takes place right after OOT. Then again, I’m not that good with lore connecting. Still, Wind Waker should be considered when discussing BOTW lore.
Perhaps Astor is the one who helps revive Ganondorf.

Aside from proving the Switch can do a proper high fidelity and Physica-laden Open world game. And erm,, Dogs Barking and running in donuts.
SS HD’s motion controls were actually worse than the original Wii. You clearly have not done a thorough comparison.
