Magic Carpet II is a Cape George 36, built in Port Townsend, WA in 1982. Her hull and ballast were built by Cape George Marine Works, and the rest was finished by the original owner.

This is one of our best episodes, ever! I love, Love, love, this. The cinemetography, storyline, the music and the space you provided to take it all in, makes me want to take out boat out again tomorrow.
One thing I can say is the transition @7:04 was jolting, seemed like the end, then a sneaky preview, which your title mentions, however, a Stay Tuned or something would have helped a bit. Kinda like the Marvel movies that have an Easter egg in them.
Well - by the time I got a break to watch, already 4,009 views beat me to it. A WOW-factor being just how much mood, emotion, and good you captured in just 7 minutes - and fiddle music!! It must have been a good measure of comfort to return to MC1 as a familiar 'home', and all ready to get underway.
The next owner will have the benefit of all your archives.
Then - it's on to life's next big adventure the uncertainty of destinations ahead.
O boy, how hard it must be for Aladino to say goodbye to hist first project and challenge. Of course, MC2 is a beautiful boat, but MC1 is the love of his youth 😢.

Brought back so many wonderful memories of my own adventures on sailboats. There’s nothing quite like the joy, satisfaction and peace of embarking in a good boat, large or small. Thank you so much for capturing these precious moments: first steps on board, stowing gear, the first putt-putt of the engine, that lovely sound of the hull slicing through water, the smells of a good meal cooking and the coziness of sitting down to eat in the cabin. Ah this is living life. ❤️❤️

👍👌👏 Oh WOW, I had forgotten how incredibly beautiful this boat looks and is! The perfectly varnished teak seems to glow from the inside. I also almost forgot how Aladino looks without wearing work clothes, dust mask and carrying tools. You two definitely need and deserve this vacation. It's a very calm, peaceful video. Very well made too, of course.

Yesssss, MC1, What an episode. So glad to see you guys back on the water. I remember watching the journey unfold from Episode 1❤. At that stage, I didn't own a boat and only dreamed of distant shores far away from a home port. Fast forward 5 years, and now I own my own boat, an Australian built 33ft Compass Innovator 😊 and have sailed the East Coast of Australia several times solo. I will be sad to see MC1 go, It feels like I own her 😅. Looking forward to seeing her over the following episodes. Fair winds, following Seas 🌊 ⛵️🍻

As relaxing as you said it felt finally stepping aboard Magic Carpet I again, oddly, I kind of got the same feeling, albeit from far away, that likely more the result of your use of video, music, and story telling acumen than anything else. It was nice to see you two put to sea with her again, even if it is for the final time, and I really enjoyed watching just how relaxed and at home you seemed being back in her galley preparing an evening meal. A real joy, for sure!
