I really want this done with _no_ cgi. Practical effects just look real. Even if not realistic, more real, and I love it so deeply.

"BEETLEJUICE BEETLEJUICE BEETLEJUICE!" (Beetlejuice III) Where Beetlejuice (Michael Keaton) Actually Tries To Evolve (Not Change) From Bad Guy To Hero. And I'm So Really Rooting For The "Ghost With The Most" To Kinda Sorta Step Up And Start Acting Like The Kind Of Friend, And Hero Lydia Deetz Needs Him To Be In Fact I Believe BJ And Lyds Should Set Their Differences Aside And Start Working As A Team Alongside Astrid (Jenna Ortega) To Save The World (Both Realms Of The Living And The Dead). Also Beej Has Just Gotta Finally Succeed In His And Lydia's Wedding. You Remember What Wynona Ryder Said In That One BTS Interview Plus I Really Can't Wait To See If Astrid Will Return For This One. Lydia's Kid Is Far Too Good To Not Do Another Sequel With The Ghost With The Most.

The sequences are fully stop motion, there is a full behind the scenes video about the sandworm and plane sequcne. They are entirely stop motion with digital compositing.

I saw that! So cool being able to go behind the scenes for a movie like that. I made this video back when the trailer dropped and all information about those scenes mentioned only CGI.

Inthink it would have been cool if they used an actual puppet, but the worm still looks pretty cool

Like a scale version similar to the original movie? Ya that would have been great

I think it overused nowadays but I don’t completely hate it. Then again I was a Animation major prior so I watched how it was used before CGI really leaned into it

Is it CGI that mimicks the style of stop motion animation? Since I thought Burton stated in an interview there will be real stop motion animation in the film, I don't know.

From my research, it is the sandworm that is CGI and animated in a way to mimic stop motion. But having now seen the movie I can attest that there is actually stop motion animation in it as well and both blend beautifully

I think the 2 Snakes based on the Rainbow Boa looked Computer Generated animation. Oh & in life Rainbow Boa are just constrictors like their Boa Relatives & Python cousins such as the one that’s seen along with the dead guy it squeezed & somehow died along with in the Neitherworld.

Yep, definitely agree with you there. Probably did it for the comfort of cast and crew. As much as I love snakes, not everyone does
