That's not a secret. It's a basic necessity for good credit. The "secret" is keeping balances below 10% If you are at 90% paying on time your score will still go down monthly

Just a warning about Credit Karma - I would not rely on this site for your scores. It's good for viewing the items on your credit report, but that's about it. Credit Karma utilizes the Vantage scoring system. Not a single lender (at least that I know of) uses Vantage. They use FICO scores with evaluating you for a loan or a line of credit, which is entirely different.
My sister added me on her Credit card just to help me out. Her credit limit in total is around 300,000-500,000$. It's been a few years now and my credit sky rocketed. I don't have to worry about keeping my usage to a certain percent or anything as well.

I wish I knew number 5 a few years ago. When I began listening to Dave Ramsey I closed like 3 credit card accounts! After I found out about the importance of your credit history I kicked myself and wanted to kick Dave Ramsey too!
Dave is an ass when it comes to giving credit advice.

And it's true that anyone can do it themselves (well, maybe not anyone). But maybe that could be a new video topic for you to cover. Learning the most efficient and effective ways to remove negative marks off your credit report

Just a warning about Credit Karma - I would not rely on this site for your scores. It's good for viewing the items on your credit report, but that's about it. Credit Karma utilizes the Vantage scoring system. Not a single lender (at least that I know of) uses Vantage. They use FICO scores with evaluating you for a loan or a line of credit, which is entirely different.
My sister added me on her Credit card just to help me out. Her credit limit in total is around 300,000-500,000$. It's been a few years now and my credit sky rocketed. I don't have to worry about keeping my usage to a certain percent or anything as well.

I want to point out according to experian the faster you pay off your debt the more your score will go down, probably because if you just make monthly payment then you add more on time payments which affects your score as well as low credit utilization
