Hi could you send me a link on what battery to get for my laptop i dont know anything about laptops but mine says the battery is at its end and i want to try and replace it, thank you
Hi! I would love to know if you had any prior experience with installing non OEM batteries on dell computers I just installed one on mine but there's a warning that comes up when booting and the computer is much slower now Let me know if there's any fix that you know of Have a great day!
I think your solution is to replace this battery with another one. Maybe not necessarily with an original but I don't think there is a fix. You have to check the cables to be the same colors exactly. I don't know any other fix.
I've done this a few times, generally when this happens, its because the seller lists a "compatible" battery with multiple model names, and it is technically compatible, but not the right one. The best thing to do is that instead of looking for a battery based on the laptop model, is to look at the battery code on the battery itself and search for one based on that. For Dell, its usually a 5 digit alpha numeric code.

I don't have a link. You have to call your local Dell and ask for a battery.
