I was signed into an online heavy equip auction...and then, there it was! And I got it for a give away price! Now I have 1 thing in common with Mr Ahman! We both have 400 pound cast steel anvils! But that's the end of the similarity...His is a top name brand, probably Good Swedish steel...mine is a no name, probably from some sweat shop operation in an economically depressed country controlled by a totalitarian regime. It has good ring and about 90% rebound...but I'm concerned that it won't hold up over time. Still it is a step up from my 100 pounder which was abused, misused, and worn out in a local shop, and then headed to the scrap yard until I rescued it. Anyway, I'm a Southern boy, and we run what we brung! We'll give 'er a go and see what happens...
I hate to break it to you, but you did not pronounce that right lol. The phonetic spelling is difficult, but its tore, as in the past tense of tear. In most nordic languages, the 'j' has a hard 'y' sound, so jo would be pronounced like yo. Bjorn would be pronounced more like byorn. Åhman is pretty simple, its ah-mon. Put together its pronounced like tore-byorn ah-mon. Im not a grammar nazi i swear
I enjoy Mr Ahman's channel too. I find both you and him to be interesting, informative, and "down to earth". Thank you for that...
