As an Iranian, I guess the only thing right about Iranian dinner is vegetables. 2:50 Women in their home do not wear hijab. We eat food on floor on a kind of cotton or plastic called Sofreh. Food in this picture looks like pizza but we usually make food by rice. Also other stuff on table are not exact. But I like how everyone is looking at father to start eating as a respect. And how family is kind of happy. 👍

I’m guessing that because the AI gets images from stock photos, since Kuwait is a Patriarchal country there might be more Kuwaiti men in pictures so it thinks there are more men in families, while you notice more egalitarian nations have a mixture of men and women.

1. In India, many people, like me, dont eat on the table, but rather on the floor. But modern indians are now eating on the table.
2. Most of use dont use hanging lights, but rather wall mounted lights. We got ceiling fans instead of the hanging lights
3. Many of us still dont eat with cutlery but with hands. Only modern indians eat with cutlery.
4. Most of us dont use glass made of glass. We use it for guests rather. Most of us use glasses made of metal for normal and personal use.

In Pakistan’s portrait at 3:20, I noticed a man sitting in another room at the back.
I’m seeing that some folks in the comment section are finding it funny/creepy/weird. However, I found it extremely accurate. Unfortunately, in Pakistan we can be classist. In Pakistan, I noticed that rich households have domestic help at very low rates. Usually when the domestic helpers have to eat or drink, then they have really old dishes and glasses separated from the newer ones that the household members eat or drink in. The household workers are also instructed to not sit on the couches/chairs because their clothes are deemed as dirty/unclean. I remember one time I was at a restaurant, there was a really rich family eating in a restaurant in Pakistan and there was a domestic helper (around the age of 13-14 ish) sitting on the same table who was probably looking after the infants of the family. While the family was eating, the domestic helper wasn’t served any food. It was just very heartbreaking.
I found it very creepy that somehow AI caught this subtle social problem in the portrait.
