IV Waste was once sanitation for the Quarter. They should have never got rid of them. They kept the Quarter cleaner then it ever has been. It has not been the same since they oust him. I am glad he is back.
So many places I have been can be identified by their unique aroma…..like bbq goat over an open flame in the Andes, or the smell of electricity and urine in a New York subway. And then there’s Bourbon Street in August , on a hot morning, after no rain the previous 20+ days. Nothing like it.
What if there were public restrooms? I mean the place is basically Disney World for liver disease enthusiasts, and pretty much everywhere one could piss is privatized. Except the street

How can brick roads and walkways in Europe , some hundreds or thousands of years old, be still level with no potholes yet our FQ sidewalks from ‘84 worlds fair are cracked and full of dangerous dips and holes?
European politicians aren't blk female democrats. When the general public starts voting for women to be in charge they've just lost their general sense.
Because they are completely different. Time frame, technology, usage, continental shelves. Do you think about just basic stuff first or at all? Why can runways handle 757’s all day but I have potholes all over when I’m driving my car? THINK. Ask questions. Research. Think more. SPEAK.
One night me and some friends were near Bourbon Street watching a parade. Afterwards a fleet of cops on horses came through yelling clear the street. As we're walking I watched a guy behind us leaning against the wall. A cop scraped the guy off the wall with his horse and said clear the street.
So I went to the French Quarter in the late 1980s. In the 2000s I went there with my wife and warned her "you will be walking down the street on a beautiful day to then get blasted with dumpster reek." That happened to us many times.
My wife and I travel a lot but never returned to New Orleans after one visit. The stench of vomit and urine on the streets and sidewalks turned us off.
Politicians take some of the simplest tasks and make them wayyyy harder than they need to be. Would take me 15 minutes to negotiate a contract with a proper sanitation company to keep such a popular town clean... clean, as in a basic condition of human decency
This needs to be done once a week. Was there a year and a half ago and the stench as well as garbage was awful. I’ve been to NYC, which at hat time I didn’t think anything could be worse! Boy was I wrong. The French quarter is a literal toilet. No need to ever visit again!
Instead of the government investing in doing the shit themselves I guess that’s too much like right huh? But atleast this company is trying clean it up
Reminds me of what California did when they knew the Chinese president was going to pay a visit. They kicked all the homeless out of the areas that he would be visiting and seeing now let’s just hope that New Orleans keeps this up even after the Super Bowl.
So they quit doing the work as leverage and now their mad and suing someone else took the job? They want to get paid AND leave the trash cans full? Great look.

Corrupt local government hired someone’s buddy who paid a kickback and did a shit job.
It's amazing how much work gets done when something big is going to happen in a certain city.... so stuipid...
They're merely polishing a turd. That place has been a shit hole long before Mother Nature came along and tried to flush it away during Katrina.
Bureaucracy slows everything down.

Smells like booze and vomit or strong disinfectant. Nasty place.
It's eye wateringly beautiful
What in heaven's name am I going to do with myself not smelling piss everywhere?!? Don't get me spoiled 🤣
Get a cat.
Preferably a horny male cat with an attitude.
Give it a week after the S.B.
Remind me to avoid that place.
What if there were public restrooms? I mean the place is basically Disney World for liver disease enthusiasts, and pretty much everywhere one could piss is privatized. Except the street
THE FRENCH QUARTER HAS A SMELL OF ITS OWN NO PLACE LIKE IT
Yeah, and it's horrible.
Yea it smells like Paris😂
Wet wood, mold, mildew and disease.
*PISS*
Nasty place every time I have been there
Amazing how every superbowl hosting city finally cleans up when superbowl or a major foreign leader is visiting. It's honestly pathetic

When are they gonna clean up the crime? The maybe I'll come visit.
Some of the things you encounter there can’t be eliminated with soap and water.
Just sayin’ 🤷♀️
Something tells me it's more than just plain soap and water.

Europe’s bedrock is granite. Louisiana is sand and shells.
I’d think the people who had the “Contract” and failed to live up to it are “In Breach” of said “Contract”.
Three words to change the fragrance of FQ: more public restrooms.

New Orleans is a dump.
Imagine what a power washer could do
You think who cares about empty garbage cans, until they are all full
I thought cleaning the Quarter meant literally wiping it out
We can only wish.
Why don’t they clean it up all the time.??????
Soooooooooo after the the game?
Nice job 👏 👍
They pressure wash parked cars?

We need IV Waste in NYC!

In Paris, the "Manhole Covers" are hatches that people come out of every night to power wash the sidewalks and streets. It's cleaner than Disneyland
So they are cleaning up temporarily so Super Bowl tourists won't see the real FQ?
Hey! They've been partying and everything under the sun in these "stinky" Quarters since the 1700's! 🤣🤣🤣🤣 People still love it! ❤️❤️❤️😊😊😊😊
If they did, they'd never come back. FQ knows this. Pretty pathetic.
Disturbing and disgusting to watch all that urine being run down the streets
I knew they’d call Sidney back in. It was so much better when his company did it. The Quarter was the cleanest it’s ever been.
The street is so permeated with beer that no amount of pressure washing and soap will get rid of it.

In time for the Sugar Bowl……
All those chemicals going straight into the streams and water table.
new orleans cleans the city ?
Visiter from France with an American Accent.

You know it's bad when the streets aren't clean enough for the regular folk to go there?
When you watch a video like this our government's perogative is to make us every day people shit

Maybe they can set up a San Francisco branch so Frisco doesn't stay covered in sh¡t 24/7/365.
When your a kid and u don't know how adults do it but you know the hand 👌 with the finger 🤞 poking the hole .
y'all get what you vote for.
Still smells like piss
So.....this is only done when there is a Superbowl in town?
There is nothing that can sanitize NOL.
