  • Here's my review and trail ride of my Sherco 300 SEF 2021 model dirbike, I ride her every couple of months when four stroke fever gets to me. I've always loved the KBS valving on the Sherco forks, I find her the most reliable four stroke around, I've owned several motocross four strokes which don't come close to the reliability of this machine. Obviously comparing Enduro machines to MX machines isn't quite fair, but it gives you an idea. If you are riding enduro then the hours you put on the engine usually translates to longevity, after 100 hours of riding this bike, I've changed clutch plates, oil and filters. She runs as good today as she did the day I got her. No spluttering, no backfiring, revving as strongly as I can manage her. I've added a Sherco Low seat and lowering link to her, she's still a bit tall for my height, 5 foot 8, I only weigh 170 pounds. Besides stalling more than a 2 stroke does, she makes my heart happy every time I throw my leg over her.

Knarly hill climbs. Loved my 300sef but always geared them down if I remember to 53 on the back and eventually added a Recluse and lowered 1". What a good technical bike that became.

Yes! Love the bike, I only weigh 155lbs...so haven't found the need to gear her down, although I know it only helps and flaming out is mitigated too.

Great riding I have the same bike I love my 21 300sef. I did add a Rekluse to fix my issues with flaming out in tight technical terrain. For and guy in his mid 40s who is an intermediate rider it has made a world of difference.
