I also have the previous non pro version. I like the smaller pack however it appears they have made some improvements to the actual belt. The velcro you speak of does not exist on the non pro version. Would you mind making a video focusing on the belt as opposed to the pack. Thank you.
i had the previous version and ended up selling it, i kept running into an issue where the bag kept sliding to the front when ever i bent over; or really just leaning to one side. have you come across this issue? the bag is cool and i want to use it but i was wondering if i was doing something wrong or maybe there is a trick to keep it in place.
I'm sure you've checked directly with Fishpond on this however the way I adjust it from being tight or too loose is to pull and tighten the outer belt where the bag slides on. It's fastened by velcro and adjust it before you put it on as there is more slack. Once tightened put it on and then slowly adjust it out if the bag doesn't slide.
This looks like it wobbles around because it lacks the hip supports and cinch straps of other hip packs - you'll never be able to achieve a snug fit around the hips. The Waterdance Pro looks better.
Ive got this set up and its better than anything ive used in 38 years of flyfishing
