Honestly, good job WB UCI. Production has improved a lot from last year. There are still a lot of kinks to work out but overall I can tell you are listening to the audience and riders, and doing your best. This year has been significant improvements and it is impossible to please everyone.
@@davidla1149 yes. Haha No , i wish. Im comparing it to last year, and I compete in DH, so I go way back to when Red Bull first started out. If you saw what I saw , there were a lot of growing pains for Redbull in the early days. Timing errors, delayed feed, grainy video, incorrect commentary. I still prefer RedBull, nonetheless, I have seen progress from last year production. If RedBull had the chance to take it back, I would be insanely happy. Im just trying not to be negative nancy with WB. It is subjective, and your insight is also correct. From my point of view I have seen growth, with many kinks still to work out.
One of the problems is they're wrecking a lot of tracks by trying to get race runs down to about 3.5 minutes. They're removing techy sections in the trees and leaving boring, open field runs. They also lowered the starting gate to an awkward position in order to shorten the track. They should get off this idea of needing to show full race runs, imo.
Love how Greg seems to be in a really good place and happy with his transition, so much to give. Gracey is very low key but when she gets on a bike, stand back - such a good rider, hoping the extra support next year will help her break out in Elite, regular podiums.
"When I came here in '98..." so, 6 years before she was born - must make him feel old, because it makes me feel old and I am just about 4 years older than Greg (but with zero achievements in racing) 😅 I like how chill he has become once he made peace with his his ambitions and a new role with perspective at Norco. Its very pleasant listening to his wisdoms. He should still race some next year, if he feels it.
G.O.A.T GM. Hope he can finish his career in style this weekend 🎉

@@marknaughton6798 i heard it was a request from the riders to shorten the track.. i agree with you, I prefer the longer track.
