    Which one shall I use in my analysis crude or adjusted OR? I mean during data analysis and interpret findings. The other question how can I design graphs for this result?

    Thank you for this! But I am confused of where did you get the “1” in both crude and odds ratio presentation table? Also, I hope you could also provide a prevalence percentage tutorial in spss.

      1 is assigned for "reference category" of which OR of other category is calculated. E.g take Sex/Gender as independent variable, give males 1 (reference category) then you calculate the OR of females

    what is the problem or reason for having inflated OR & wide CI

    • @ethioresearch693
      @ethioresearch693  Год назад +3

      Dear Nur thank you very much for your interesting questions.
      When ever we do parametric analysis, we have to make sure that all the assumptions are met. But if we failed to do that, problem like inflated OR or even 0 OR and wide CI will happens. when sometimes have small number of sample size, observation may have a homogeneity towards our study variables hence inflated OR and when our data contains a wide variability towards our study variable will result in wider CI.
