    This video explain the odd ratio production and the interpretation of using SPSS binary logistic regression. This method is very important to predict the dependent variables in binary condition (Survive and Not Survive). This model is very important to estimate the survivability condition of the passenger based on certain risk factors/ factors.
    To control the logistic regression, we have to insert the another variables as adjusted model. Adjusted model discuss in following video:

    Hi sir. Can you explain what are the difference between forward, backward and enter procedure? How we want to know which procedure is suitable to use?

      Thanks for your comment. Sorry for late comment/ response. The use of forward, backward, enter and else are purely for heirachical pespective. In logistic, the insertion of each variable will change the probit logit that useful for us to indicate the most influential factors that influence our dv. That's the simple idea of the step.     So the data set is adjusted for survival rate?
    My second question is; how can I calculate or find the risk ratio from the odds ratio?..thanks

      Thank you for your question. The RR was calculated using the crosstab menu. You can do this by analyze, frequency, crosstab, under the crosstab, the statistic radio button, you can request for the risk

    what means when the Odss results in a high number (more than 5 numbers), and the CI 95% apears empty, but the other variables' OR seems to be ok?

    hi, how do you decide which covariate to be analyses first, and which covariate to be adjusted later?

      Thanks for your comment. The ideas of covariate flow of analysis can be justify based on some reasoning. The easiest scientific justification was based on the literature and findings from numbers of published evidences. If your study was consider novel/ no solid references, therefore, the descriptive analysis will be a must in justifying those steps/ covariate flow of choosing. I took example, in my professional field (occupational health and environmental health), the upmost important covariate to be consider when there is no published evidence was the differences analysis in bivariate step (male differ from male or not), something like that.

      Thanks for your comment. This video showing the crude odd sir. The adjusted is where you put another variables as control mechanism in your covariate box. Example you put the fare variable after you run this analysis.. then your passenger class and gender will be change . That's is adjusted odd after inserting other variables as mechanism of control
