you convinced me! I watched a few reviews yesterday and while they all said the MP145 sounded good, I was thinking I don't need another $140 iem, but it is a great cause, so i took the leap.
Had these for 1 week. rediscovering all my music thru new ears . Bass, soundstage and details are awesome but with a organic DD style of presentation. Good review and I recommend these.
That cable does look great. I noticed personally that there is a trade off between stage size and bass quality. Tight bass requires qood isolation and that reduces stage. Finding a good balance is challenging. Vented IEMs typically open up the stage a bit.
Good point! Another thing is a lot of IEMs with a large soundstage position the stage quite neutral/distant, so they miss out on vocal and instrument intimacy which can negatively affect engagement The reverse can be said about IEMs that focus on mids and bring the stage too forward - (Zero Red) and they tend to have a very small/in-your-face stage. It's tricky to find the right balance.
Excited for these and to finally move on from my old KZ ES4. I've gotten used to my Sundara at home, so having something "comparable" on the go will be welcome.
@@filipbrzezinski2678 they're actually similar in many respects. The soundstage, while open for IEMs, is definitely smaller than the Sundara but that's probably the biggest difference.
I've been using these for 3 weeks and they're great - things are a little forward here and there that makes things stand out that didn't before. No sibilance, no harshness, can use them with RUclips, PC or phone, mp3 or flac, EQ or no EQ, they sound good with anything. I use a V-shape EQ on them. They're detailed, lush, precise, emotional, bass is very separated. They're $159 USD now. It's a little heavy but unless you're exercising you wouldn't notice it. They're big and don't fit in my gfs ears. Accurate review. I use the bass filter with balanced tips. What's the difference between the mp145 and the S12?
Awesome review here. Could you help me with a purchase decision? Currently using the T3+ and quite enjoying it but would like to have an upgrade. My preferences: - forward and engaging vocal - treble not piercing or shouty - high quality bass - similar or higher quantity of bass as T3+, not a basshead though, just a bass enjoyer - overall better technicality than T3+ Genres: R&b, soul, Indie bedroom pop, hiphop I've also tried: - Moondrop Chu: Too flat and the bass is too low for me - Zero: RED (with the bass boost adapter): Better bass and less forward vocal than T3+. Overall not enough of an upgrade over T3+ for me These are what I'm considering: - Hidizs MP145 - TANGZU x HBB Wu Heyday - Tripowin x HBB Olina SE - Ikko OH10 - Truthear Nova Ignoring the price difference, which IEM do you think best matches my preferences in overall? Or do you have better recommendations? Thanks
Mine just arrived today, along with one of their dongle DAC/Amps. They sound amazing, but I need to experiment with the filters and tips before deciding just how good it is. P.S. How I wish I had re-watched this video before attempting to open the filter box. :D
it seems you got the second version for testing I hope this is the one that gets to the final release I believe the first versions that are a little to brigth on the treble
Hi bro, how this compares to the NICEHCK F1 PROs in terms of sound quality? IDC that much about accesories and all that stuff lol. GREAT CONTENT BTW!!!
I'm debating, as we speak, between the S12 Pro, Sennheiser ie200 and Tangzu HBB Heyday. From various reviews of the Hidiz, I'm scared that the focus is on the bass. The last thing I want when listening to a piece of music, is to have my attention drawn to one particular instrument or frequency. One RUclipsr just spent the entire review on its bass. Would you say this is the case?
Are these as relaxed as the Tin T2? I know these are different classes, I just ask because I've heard reviews describe the T2 as chill, but in my own experience it's treble can edge into harshness. The IEM I'm saving for is either the Moondrop Kato or the SeeAudio Yume Ultra II, but after watching this review I'm feeling seduced by the Hidizs MP145's transient performance - attack, stage and imaging are the most important to me.
@@PrimeAudioReviews Thank you for quick response. Not considering the comfort, based on music performance, which one to go for. Which provides a fuller sounding tones. Thank you.
There are so many - even though the $300-$500 is somewhat sparse. TRN Azure Dragon and Earsonics ONYX come to mind but there are many more depending on your preferred sound signature.
I'd say Zetian Wu (original) has a slight edge (assuming you have enough power to drive it properly). It's more lightweight and comfortable too but the MP145 has better build quality.
the time I hear planar, immediately I skip coz I listen with iPhone + iPhone original dongle, unless any suggestion better dongles to drive these planars.

It’s good right

I love my sundaras too, how those IEM planars compare to sundaras? I would love to have sundaras in my pocket 😉

How’s the midbass? Is it thumpy?
How the hell did you get them so early without being a reviewer?
S12 is brighter and tighter. It's more detailed but leaner with thinner note size.
@@Hijynx87 No, its perfect

So many iems, so little money. I have yet to try a planar and this tuning sounds like a good fit for me.
Worth a try!
@@PrimeAudioReviews lol I just bought another set last night, I don't have the money. I'll have to wait for it to go on sale

@@Hijynx87 Letshuoer x Gizaudio Galileo. It's a good set but the tuning isn't for everybody.
Any idea how it compare to quintet? Can't decide between this two
Quintet is more dynamic and exciting. MP145 is laid-back and mellow.
How does it compare to the Simgot EM6L and Aful Performer 5? I'm looking for a neutral + Bass boost tuning iem. For Hip Hop Music.
This i want to know aldo, and also how does it compare to the 7hz Sonus and Kiwi ears Quartet.
How does Kickstarter works? What happens if i pay now €109?
If you pay now, you get it cheaper. Later it will cost more (up to $199).
I have Sonus and Quartet, sadly haven't had time to try them.
@@PrimeAudioReviews but is it guaranteed that they will send it when you pay now? What happens if they not collect enough “fund” for it?
Hi mate, which one would you choose between moondrop blessing 2 and this one?
I only have B3 I'm afraid.

Incidentally, Hidizs do NOT donate any proceeds of the sale of any of their products to any whale-saving organization, David.
That's somewhat disappointing (I had no idea) but I guess just raising awareness is worth something.

The bass is boosted but not enough to be distracting (for me).

I am stuck between MP145 and S12 Pro, which one should I consider?
MP145 if you have larger ears and don't mind a big iem. Otherwise S12 Pro

Is their instrument separation good enough for classical music serious listening ? (Analysing orchestration..)

They're actually very similar! I'd say the DMA bass is a tad more textured but you can't go wrong with either one.
Everyone says the red filters are the bassy ones... 🤔

I haven't tried P1 Max.

Yes
I did mention that it's noisy in strong wind 😄

Yes, I tested it with dongles and it's fine.

Mate, get Letshuoer s12 Pro. You can run it easy with your apple dongle and its a boss iem (better than mp145).
@@PrimeAudioReviews , oh..really?! thanks 🙏 and noted for the info, letshuoer S12Pro would be my first planar IEM then.
