I still talk about Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time from 1998. It was one of the greatest experiences of my life. Red Red Redemption 2 is the only thing since to rival that experience.
I’ve played it so many times on console that I’m now saving up for a monster computer cause I heard the experience on the computer with mods (depending on what you download) to add to the realism is a huge difference.
I still talk about Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time from 1998. It was one of the greatest experiences of my life. Red Red Redemption 2 is the only thing since to rival that experience
There doesn't need to be a 3rd game, literally no need. Revolver, RDR1 & 2 have all achieved so much, another game would likely be medicore, merely trying to top the last installment
He didn't think about it, until Sadie shows up and tells John she found Micah and the rest of them. That's when everything went awry and wrong for John Marston, which leads to the events of RDR1. In the end, John didn't listen to Arthur's advice on "moving forward and never looking back". If he did that, nothing in RDR1 would've come to fruition.
Strange Man is wrong about why John doesn't talk about Arthur. It is not because he needs to be a hero to his son. John doesn't speak because Arthurs death is too painful. A man he loved too much like a brother too late is gone and could not save him. John feels ashamed that he left his brother to die alone.
Arthur told him while he has seen him last time to "get the hell out of here and be a God damn man" and "don't look back" Maybe this is what John is trying to do also
Whenever i hear the song "just the way it is" I'm instant sad and could cry and dont wanna think about the ending with arthur , and at the same time i wanna start a new game and see arthur. Isn't it strange that we care about a fictional character and that he became such a important place in us....never played a game like RDR2 and i will never have such a experience....Arthur you are the best buddy! No videogame had or will be have a character like arthur! RDR2 THE BEST GAME OF ALL TIME!!!
I always figured Jon didn't wanna talk about Arthur because it hurt him to think about it. He knew Arthur was dying but still having his brother take all the heat off him for at least a while and give his life to save John and his family, It's a lot. Arthur telling him to not look back was one of the few times John actually listened to someone as well as we all know how stubborn he is.
I enjoy watching all the videos about the secrets of Red Dead Redemption, but every time I do, I struggle with the temptation to close them so that I can replay the game and discover all these hidden dialogue, interesting encounters, references, and more on my own. However, I also realize that a lifetime will probably not be enough to uncover all the details.
I’ve watched pretty much all of your videos and Arthur is apart of a lot of them but this one really hit me. I amazes me how a video game can make a person feel so much. Whenever I get to the part where Arthur dies every single time it feels like I’ve just lost one of my best friends. I feel like I’ve been through so much with him, through the highs and lows, near death experiences, and I just have to sit back and watch him die and life just goes on. Red Dead truly is a work of art, never in my life have I been so attached to something that isn’t even real… but it feels so real. This game is apart of who I am and how I live my life. Arthur Morgan, a true legend of the Wild West
Oh man, you your crew does a masterful job on researching and finding these scenes. The one about Jack talking about Arthur is special, r* turned their backs on a masterpiece!
Can u do a video pointing out the differences in camp morale if you get all the items to make it more comfortable for everyone as opposed to getting nothing for camp? I cant tell a difference in dialogue at all.
That cutscenes with Abigail in bed are so heartwarming that i can't play with John I cannot imagine myself just go on hunt in the middle if grizzlies or west mountains or just go rob a carrier i feel responsibility with John to a family
Your editing is beyond impressive. The cinematics, the music, the beautiful choice of scenes. Especially at the end of the video. What a masterpiece. Please keep making these.
You should do more type of story mode videos. These are one of my most favorites type of videos on your channel : ) Also it would be nice to see mysteries which are still not explained or mysteries which was explained recently like year maybe 2 years ago. Love your channel < 3
i just finished rdr 2 this game is not a normal game its an experiance and i got so much attached with arthur that after chapter 6 i didnt want to play with john i got so much depressed but i finished the epilogues.man this game is much better than many movies or other games.well done rockstar games
Why do I *still* cry over what I know realistically is just a bunch of pixels in a video game? It feels like he's a real person, my brain just refuses to reconcile this. Six years later and a 100% playthrough, with another underway, and that song tears me up EVERY time.
John don't like talk about Arthur because Arthur said " Don't look back " eventhough he doesn't like to talk about Arthur but he's still think about him
I'm not sure if this been talked about or shown. But another detail I seen after about 5 years of gameplay was in my 3rd playthrough, at bleachers hope and I seen Abigail standing on the porch watching Jack play with Rufus and I seen where I can press either square or triangle to interact with her. And it ended up being John standing and cuddling Abigail while they watched Jack play with Rufus. Never seen it happened before or a video about it.
I need a video talking about the meaning of every special song of this game. "Thats the way it is" for example. I know the meaning is obviously but i would like to see a comparision with the lyrics and the scenes of rdr2
I don't think so. Everything was found after 2 years and players passed a long time to seek other details. Gtavi and rdr3 will probably have a lot of détails, maybe rdr3 will have a hugh map
It is been 7 years later. After, he passed😢 we shouldn’t never forget him or his sacrifice😔🥺 we never talked about him much. RIP Arthur Morgan. (1862-1899). Whoever reading this in comment will you visit his grave. I would be grateful to pay for respect of our loss friend😔🌹💐

To be honest there probably won’t be an RDR3. The story pretty much is resolved with the prequel. And GTA is much more profitable for rockstar (online) and that’s what they truly care about. I don’t see the red dead series’s continuing in the future.
@hbombdaboss97 I agree with that but Rockstar could definitely make a good profit out of milking the story of red dead a little longer with a prequel or a sequel and then be done with the trilogy all together even if the online is trash
@@hunterbellamy2282 I mean not really a “good profit” single game sales make up a tiny fraction of what GTA online brings in. And with GTA 6 coming out I have a feeling rockstar will not be working on any other projects for the next 7 to 10 years. As much as the community would love another RDR (Including me) it just doesn’t make sense financially. In depth detailed games like this are a huge project and require a lot of resources which would be costly. If RDO had turned out to be more popular I think rockstar would have definitely considered keeping the series going. But unfortunately I’m fairly certain it ends with rdr2.
@hbombdaboss97 very fair point since RDO has been dying over the years and hasn't really been as big as GTA online but we can all agree that RDR2 story was a masterpiece by Rockstar
@@hunterbellamy2282 absolutely. The red dead series always had a superior story. But rockstar cares more about the numbers. It’s unfortunate but it’s the way it is.

Yeah, and mostly his family. John did everything for his family so it would be understandable for him to want jack to have a good opinion about him, while john always had a terrible opinion about himself
Went and made me cry Strange Man.. Can't watch that bit with Arthur and not feel that first time playing feeling. A nice touch with your ending. Thanks for another great video!

It's not just for john's ego that he doesn't like to talk about arthur. Knowing john's character, he never had a big ego about himself like first chaps arthur, wanting to be seen as a hero. Jack's opinion here is one of the reasons. And john is not wrong, he saved arthur (arthur's redemption is mostly tks to john too), if his family does fine it's part tks to him...
