Paldean Fates Pokemon Cards have been out for a few months and it seems the initial hype surrounding the set has really settled down. Filled with some Amazing Artwork and Fantastic Special Illustration Rare Pokemon Cards, Paldean Fates is the 3rd Pokemon Card set that provides us with Shiny versions of Pokemon Cards.
While it is hard to live up to the demand and excitement Hidden Fates Pokemon Cards provided us with, Paldean Fates provided us with Charizard ex, "Bubble" Mew, and Gardevoir ex in Special Illustration Form. With Pokemon Card Pull Rates that are extremely attractive to Pokemon Card Collectors, Paldean Fates has been an extremely fun set to open. However, with so much attention currently being given to Sword and Shield Era Pokemon Cards, it seems Paldean Fates Pokemon Card have been forgotten. Sets are coming out so fast, the hype just comes and goes so quick. People don’t have time to appreciate it I feel

I always said this! Almost done with my master set of Paldean fates & I have a sealed BB display, tin display, and Pokémon center of it.

The set has some amazing arts in it but if you had my luck with the set then you would be glad to move on from it. Absolutely brutal for me yet super rewarding for others.

My kid opened her first and last Vivid Voltage etb. She opened the Pikachu Vmax rainbow rare.
Now that's insane. That's a 1 in 1000 pack card literally
@@GoobNoob We were happy to get the hit, we high-fived and sleeved it right away. About 10 minutes later, after we finished opening the rest of the packs and were cleaning up, I said we should look up the value. My jaw nearly hit the floor, I couldn’t believe it. I had to show my kid right away, she was even happier knowing we pulled the most sought after card from the set. It was pure luck, and it made for a great Friday. We always celebrate her spelling test scores with Pokémon cards, regardless of her score, I think it’s important to reward her efforts.
@@whiskybravo4648 Not only as a 'reward.' Ask her what the abilities of some of the cards/Pokémon do some time. I bet she reads a lot of the cards.

I have loved Paldean Fates. It’s actually the very first set I’ve decided to try and master set. I’m well on my way!
I usually don't say "good" or "bad" pull rates. Good or bad for who?? Normally low or high.
Paying attention to no outside content, I would absolutely still be collecting special illustration rares.
It's great seeing just an "average" Pokemon like Pidgey having such a valuable card.
I'm just glad my daughter hasnt discovered the baby shinies...Lol.
I opened a lot of silver tempest so I'm working on completing a master set of that

I don't check the media much, but it's hard not to notice when you can't buy a certain pack anymore and so I FOMO buying the singles I couldn't pull

I recently got back into Pokemon card collecting, and I went with Paldean Fates as it's a very fun set to open because of how many hits it has. Plus it's really cheap!

I generally focus on the cards that are of Pokemon I use and have fun with in the games. The games keep me in the TCG hobby
I love opening paldean fates. I thought I wouldn’t care for this set until I started opening it and saw ther cards in person. It’s honestly an amazing set. If it had like 3-4 more SIR’s of popular pokemon and like 10 more IR’s it would have been a perfect set.
One that surprised me is Drifloon has gone from a $2 to a $9 card. Most of that rise being in the last month.
Paldean Fates is definitely super fun to open!
If price wasn’t an issue I’d 100% be focusing on tag teams, 151 mostly.
I'm surprised u didn't include the Drifloon baby shiny in the presentation because that one went from essentially a $2 card to open and has climbed all the way to $9 currently. Not sure if it's due to playability but I been watching that one in particular as Drifloon isn't on my radar as a highly sought after character. Awesome content as usual!! Thanks
Collecting alternate arts and full art cards, but also cards from particular Pokemon.
I liked opening at the beginning but products cost was a bit pricey for me and preferred focusing on S&S still
Paldean Fates is definitely by far the set of the year for me personally, I wish there were shiny Eeveeloutions in the set though. It's always fun just getting pulls even if they're not money cards. And it's even better when I can open em for much cheaper than retail! Target was the best place to get ETBs for less than $40, hopefully they bring that sale again soon!
Love this set, easily my second favorite from SV era and so fun to rip! Only missing Iono and Nemona SIR’s now along with 2 Gold & about 40 baby shinies 😅
Grabbed a few sealed on release. I’ve been enjoying Crimson Haze as well. Holding Fates for awhile.
Definitely sealed premium boxes ,ETB and others from S&S era! They are great products with massive potential for future resale for profit. Also collecting for myself.
Mastered 151 and opened a bunch of swsh along the way. Now I’m buying anything with evolving skies and keeping the packs sealed, opening the rest, and starting to open paldea evolved. I didn’t buy much PAF because my wife pulled the Charizard in our 3rd tin opening.
I have always been a huge fan of shiny Pokémon , so paldean fates would be the set I would be opening if I didn’t pay attention to social media. Paldean dates is still the main set I buy, but I love those gold crown zenith cards.
Just important to me- the full/alt arts, original 151 full arts, and my favorite Pokémon entei lugia groudon rayquaza kangaskhan nido king feraligator gengar and scizor

I feel like mythical regional variance might be true in the case of Palden Fates for us because we had terrible luck.
I buy a booster box and one of each etb that comes out. If I like the set after that I’ll maybe order more and open it or buy singles to master the set. If I’m not digging the set I just focus on my jolteon collection. I’m working towards getting one of every English jolteon card ever made, and I have some random non-tcg cards or Japanese only promos.
I also like to buy the ex battle decks and some friends and I will take those and a few random decks we each throw together and play each other with random decks.
I think i love this set as much as 151 if not more?🎉🎉

I have so much Paldean Fates collected and so much further to go with shinies. I currently have 34 out of the 119. I have only pulled two doubles in the shinies. But I did pull Charizard.

I'd personally focus on trying to get Tag Team cards. I wish I got into the hobby during SM era, and I love the Tag Teams. Even the regular GX cards are super nice. Other than that, late SwSh sets (Astral Radiance, Silver Tempest, Lost Origin, Crown Zenith) and SV sets are my go-to
My collection has focused on swsh trainer gallery cards. Been working on it ever seen getting back into the hobby. I'm about 32 cards away to completing the 4 swsh TG sub sets.
I love sword and shield but I love the look of a lot of the older sets like neo discovery and the sets around that time. I love to pick up the commons and uncommons from that era.
Alt arts, trainer gallery, and crispy vintage is where I'd be.
I'm focusing on finishing my Eevee section of my eeveelution binders. I love paldean fates but with no shiny eeveelutions it's on the back burner. But Twilight Masquerade is one I'll be buying a lot of.
Personally, I’d love to finish up my Chilling Reign set. I’m not far from finishing it and I expect that one will rise in the future-but I really just loved the art on Chilling Reign 😅
i noticed once temporal forces prices started going stupid, it seemed like people went back to start buying paldean dates singles and that’s when the prices started slowly creeping up.
With so many people being turned off by Temporal Forces and even more by Twilight Masquerade, and by the high prices of Sword and Shield, I think a lot of collectors are going to turn thier attention to the cheaper trainer galleries, Paldean Fates and undervalued illustration rares and older cards .

If i was collecting in a bubble without influence, 151 would still be my main focus. The nostalgia hits too hard and the arts are beautiful
Funny, but I love collecting commons, uncommons, rares and what not from eras I missed out on like gen 4,5,6ish. I mean they have great art lol

@@Bodonism it’s two different sets from the early 2000. Amazing sets. Growing up I wasn’t able to get them but as an adult I can buy slowly. They’re hard to come by and expensive

I’ve been playing zard since it came out i picked up my shiny pidgeys at $5 on release day was so relieved that I got them when I did!
I’d be finishing my Neo sets but I keep getting sucked back in to S&M and XY sets 🙃
I would focus on finishing my 151 binder, collect more of crown zenith gg cards and alt arts. Then collecting any IRs or SIRs that I really enjoy the artwork of

Opened a few 3 packs and a few booster bundles and luckily snagged the bubble mew. Lots of fun!
No holds barred, I'd still be opening all the variations of the delta species cards. The dual typing is just the best look for a card
i only focus on zards, pikachus, mewtwo, mew, dragonite and gengars. i couldnt care less about the others stuff. I never pay attention to media, just collect the 6 i named in here!

I personally think exDeoxys, Crown Zenith and Paldea Evolved have the best artworks as master sets. I pay attention to things, but I always go with my gut or what I personally like. Don’t sleep on Paldea Evolved though.
Definitely collecting all of the trainer gallery/Illustration rares cards throughout SWSH and Scarlet/Violet.
Ive been buying some fusion strike. Still cheapish and i really like the Gengar

Been organizing all my hits and sorting every card into the correct set.. I’m going to focus on wotc singles for those sets and collecting reverse holos! For modern products… sealed lol
I really like the special sets that Pokémon puts out but the one I would be focused on with no bias would be 151.
I would hunt for Entei cards, my all time favorige pokemon from childhood.
I sold most of my alt from swsh because too much market price changes but i still collect cheaper cards. I enjoyed paldea evolved and paldean fates.
Trying to get a Master set of Celebrations/Pokémon Go and Brilliant stars for the Sword en shield era. Also collecting eevee and eeveelutions. Now i have still 3 more days to decide wich set going to master 151 of paldean fates. from 151 got the Charizard 1 of my main reasons to master a set if i hit the top card. But for paldean fates i got mew iono pikachu and Gardevoir and actually almost all the other illustration cards. But so many shiny needed😮
I pulled the charzarid ex out of my first tin I bought I'm getting it graded it looks so awesome.
Honestly, main focus would be completing Sun & Moon base masterset :)

I store I wouldn't chase in that set. I just wanted the mew and gardivour. I have been waiting for the prices to go down, but now I can't find any at my local stores. I DID pull the charizard though.
Regardless of outside influences, I would still be focused on filling out my master sets for Celebrations and S&V 151… still dragging my feet though! 😅😅😅

I find myself still opening PF every so often because of how good the hit rates are. I want to master the set, and more often than not I manage to get a shiny I didn't have before which is so fun!

I love ereaders and mid era stamps
I think paldean fates will drop in price a lot since it just release in January. People will buy newer sets instead as we know Pokemon loves re-prints.

Ive not been focusing on social media and ive been collecting the master set of ES. Sadly, i need 2 more AA cards and now theyre both over 200 :) (umbreon V alt and Rayquaza vmax alt).

I can’t bring myself to buy loose packs from any of those vendors. Weighed packs is always my first guess. I’d rather pay a bit more for a sealed box
