I was in that crowd as a 9 year old kid, I remember I was on my Daddy’s shoulders. I’m glad I found this video...When President left he had his windows down & I felt like he waved right at me. What a great day for a 9 year old kid!

I joined the military under his watch and have been ever since. I have fought and risked my life many times for our freedom.. for our people, our freedom and our Constitution! Including the Bill of Rights. Especially the first and second amendment and will continue until I breathe my final breath.

And we can help in anyway. I was a Ranger in Africa. They had a civil war. People, some god people don’t think we should be in other countries. I agree with being in Iran. We didn’t know but they had no weapons of mass destruction. But people were being starved until the wasted to nothing! We had to help them! They weren’t getting the food our tax dollars and. The kind donations people gave. They weren’t getting a bite of it! The opposition was taking all the food that was for the people. They came to the drop of sites but they were beaten and shot trying to grab a Handful of rice. If you’ve ever missed a meal and felt hungry.imagine not having food for days? Starving is a lot of Pain! These people would have their arm cut off for a bit of food!

That's cool. 1980 was the first election I was old enough to vote in, and I could not wait to vote for Reagan. Voted for him again in 1984. I was on active duty for both votes & voted by absentee ballot back when they meant something.
I voted for him to be on the Republican Ticket. My first election after becoming old enough to vote.
Wish we had him, now. He could really inspire Democrats and Republicans to work together. A true leader!

I was there, and so was my wife! We were both kids, and we actually saw her in the video! She was near where the cameras were. I was on the right hand side.
When presidents were presidential! Had the opportunity to shake this man's hand when I was a teenager!

I was there in the crowd as well. I was 7. My parents were democrats so my neighbor a republican brought me. Don't remember much at all. Glad I found this so I can hear it years later.

I worked for a lot of years attending court in that very courthouse over the past couple decades and served in the 101st Airborne while President Reagan was in office. Wish I’d been able to attend this speech but I was in Infantry School at Ft. Benning GA.

I was there that day as a 7 year old. My grandpa took me and my sister. My grandfather was a WW2 vet and was so proud of this moment. I've lived here in Athens all my life. That 40 years went fast.

Trump has been the best President we had since Reagan. Before him, we would have to go to JFK. He had trouble keeping it in his pants. And if he wrote his book instead of his wife. Jacqueline Kennedy was one of the greatest first ladies all the presidents! Roosevelts wife I forget her name was also a great First Lady.
