      Destroyed America in a ton of ways
      Impossible for anyone after to own a house with any kind of job easily. Destabilised the middle class. Destroyed unions and made the current day job market of today where you are worthless snd replacable, doesnt matter how great you are, you're treated like trash. If someone's in boss man position and is a jerk you're screwed
      So much bs
      Started the outsourcing crisis, and the runaway dept that's been going on forever now
      But people love to romanticise this *he fought communism! * bs which like okay but... HIS POLICIES THO.....
      Yeah no crap he *looked good on camera* he was a actor.... He supplied weapons to enemies and also caved to terrorists multiple times. Ignored AIDS Epidemic While Tens of Thousands Died. Robbed the Social Security Trust Fund To Pay For Budget Shortfalls. Allowed Family Farms industry To Go Bankrupt. Caused Savings and Loan Industry to Collapse. Isn't he the one who destroyed Americans industrial power??? We can't produce anything anymore

    I am a young man, 17 to be exact. I wish I was alive to experience the legacy of the legendary president Ronald Reagan. He was such a great man, today is 2023, October 10. USA is in crisis, I wish there will be someone as great as Reagan that will appear in the modern day. The future of America is fragile.

      You are not alone in your feelings. Might I suggest that the "person" that you are seeking is no one in particular. No, it is each and every one of us. "We The People" control our destiny. There have been a few good examples of "Citizen Leaders", Pres. Reagan being a good example. The worst thing good American citizens can do, is to do nothing. Your generation, led by those that feel like you, are the voice of our future, and the future of America.

    • @HANKSANDY69420
      @HANKSANDY69420 Месяц назад +2

      Aye to that. I myself have just turned 17. You guys speak the truth, it takes all of us standing together to preserve what we've had that no other country has truly replicated. This is an ongoing battle, and the crisis we're experiencing today is one of many that have happened before, and we must continue to work together and fight back against each wave of tyranny to return to the high moments of this great nation, like back then in his administration, and just 6 years ago.

    • @gmcxm211
      @gmcxm211 20 дней назад +1

      Well, guys it's very simple, listen to a candidate that never uses the word "I". That never insults a person, or people of the opposite party. Truly believes in our freedoms. Truly believes in our Country. Always quoting other great "leaders" of other countries. Always quoting great presidents. Actually knows the history of our country. Never puts him or herself first. Truly believes in our Constitution. Truly believes in our judicial system. And most of all Truly Believes in All Americans. How will you know if this the right person? After three sentences, you'll know regardless if this person is a democrat or republican. A candidate who puts the people first, the country first, it wouldn't matter what political party that candidate is speaking from.
      Reagan - Republican, JFK - Democrat, Lincoln - Republican, Roosevelt - Democrat did it matter what political party these great presidents were. Because these presidents put the country first and not their political party.

    I'm a Democrat. This was when party didn't matter. I liked Reagan, both as a President, but more importantly, I respected him as a human being. His compassion. His words, and how he spoke them. They invoked emotion. I didn't like some of his policies, but I think he did more good than harm, and he made all of us better people.

      Party still doesn't matter to people with common sense. You listen to the facts, support those that support the people of the country (that would be EVERY man and woman who pays taxes) and you pick the person who will do good for the people and businesses as well but in a happy medium kinda way. With the best interests for both and still maintaining the rights and limitations to both and most importantly one who respects the office , upholds the laws and defends our country and our democracy and goes forth to improve our country for all of us, not just the rich or for a certain party or belief but for one nation for all under God.

    President Reagan was deeply patriotic and that was the source of his vision of what America could be, a vision he accomplished. He was wise, strong, compassionate and, most importantly, humble in the face of his office. In this speech he owns his successes and failures and shares his hope for the future of America in a tone both eloquent and relatable. President Reagan was an excellent communicator. I don't know why I cried when he said his farewell. It felt like that he tried his hardest to bring the world back together no matter how hateful and how dangerous it can be to run a country and be their leader. He's one of the many leaders that we could never imagine to this day to come back ever again. Reagan is a true patriot and a true definition of being President of the United States. I was just coming into my teens when Ronald Reagan was elected president. It didn't much matter to me at the time as i'm a Brit, but looking back, we as a nation was always terrified of the nuclear threat as we had regular infomercials of what to do if the bomb went off. Being a small landmass, it doesn't take long to work out that a few strategically placed atomic bombs would annihilate the UK. Reagan single-handedly solved the nuclear arms race, reduced atomic weapon stockpiling and the world for once felt safe. We should all be thankful for this honourable President.

Our “aggression” has been to establish world peace. Stopping the spread of communism and terrorism has been the reason for our deployment of troops over seas for decades. The greatest President in my lifetime.
    In 1971 I was a college Senior working backstage at the Opera House in SF. Then Governor Reagan was there for a political event and While he was waiting for things to get set up he took the time to have a 15 minute one on one conversation with me. We never talked politics but rather Reagan asked me questions about what I was planning to do with my life. He mentioned that whatever direction my life takes I should always have confidence in myself and never give up my dreams. He said stay positive and be the best person I could be.
    Over the years I’ve had several opportunities to work with several celebrities and politicians and I can tell you that Reagan was the most genuine politician I ever met. He was a real people person and his kindness truly came through.

    I beg my American friends to remember that. Democracy exists only by the will of the people and their gift to the world. And as disappointed as you might feel by your role as the "world's policeman" we are such a worse place without that.

Not to mention he made a deal with Iran to keep the hostages until he was president. He also inadvertently created al-Qaida who did 9/11. He was one of the worst presidents we've ever had.
