- Complete guide of transfer process from domestic arrivals to international departure .
Hyderabad International Airport is single terminal airport from which both domestic and international flight operates but both section are separate and not internally connected. When connecting from domestic to international have to exit the terminal and re enter from international departure.
Even if having domestic and international ticket booked on same PNR cant go through immigration more than 4 hr before flight. If you have long layover before your international departure then better you wait at domestic arrivals or at aeroplaza .If enter the international departure earlier then would be stuck before immigration ,neither you would be able to pass immigration nor able to exit the terminal and there is very limited food and beverage availability at check in area.

Is this the same approach from international to domestic? Exit from terminal and back to check in?
Yes,till now no internal transfer available.
When you arrive by international flight after customs you would exit from same set of gates and then take elevator/Escalator to departure.
If you have connecting flight on same PNR then after custom do check about baggage transfer desk on right side. They were supposed to start that facility for connecting passengers where you can drop your baggage at your airline (Delhi have this for AirIndia/Vistara connecting passengers) and then proceed for departure but was not started till my last visit last month.
If both are separate booking then as usual have to do check in at departure.
can u pls tell how to change flight from domestic to international
This video is about the same, you have to walk from domestic arrivals to departure (which is common for both domestic and international).
Only thing which you have to check is baggage.
If both booked on same PNR then you don’t have to collect baggage, just proceed to departure and then to immigration and security.
If both on separate PNR then have to collect baggage and then check in for international flight at departure check in counter of respective airline.

@@travelwithmatloo thank you
Brother i am international student, i have my flight from Hyderabad to Bangalore and Bangalore to London and London to Atlanta All are connecting flights
On Same PNR number but Different airlines operating
So in Hyderabad i need to give Domestic entry or International entry for my departure ?
Where is my immigration stamp held at in Hyd or Banglore ?
Will i get all my boarding pass in Hyd or banglore ?
1>Doesnt matters as now check in area is common, but your flight is a domestic one.Can enter from any gate.
2>Bengaluru
3>Under normal circumstances Hyderabad.
@@travelwithmatloo Bro if my immigration is stamped at banglore will i need to exit and go through security check again for immigration.
Please explain my immigration process at banglore how it will be done how i approach them
Yes,in any condition you have to go through security at Bengaluru.
If you are flying by Indigo or Spicejet, will arrive at T1,then exit T1 and board shuttle bus, reach T2 ,enter T2 go through immigration and then security.
If by AirIndia,Vistara,AirIndia express then will arrive at T2 ,just take elevator/escalator to departure level from baggage area, then immigration and security.
Under normal circumstances when check in formality at Hyderabad and both boarding pass at Hyderabad then baggage at Bengaluru would be transferred by airline.
I have a flight upcoming Thursday! I'll be landing in hyderabad domestic airport and i have 5 hour layover in hyd for my next flight to dubai in indigo itself , should i collect my baggage and take boarding pass for the next flight? And should i exit and renter to the international terminal?
If both flights booked on same PNR then you don’t need to collect baggage at HYD,you will get both boarding pass at first airport,at HYD baggage would be transferred by airline, you need to exit the terminal and take elevator to departure level and re enter the terminal just as shown in this video.
*Hyderabad Airport have only one terminal which operates for both domestic and international.
@@travelwithmatloo thank you brother
@@travelwithmatloo is there any shops for having food in international terminal.?
Yes there are ruclips.net/video/an5tDzVPZb8/видео.htmlsi=emOhquK4EqptyRgM
@@travelwithmatlooHave u travelled through? Bcz I heard from a person who travelled that baggage needs to be collected in hyd
Domestic and international jagah pe hai
Is it possible to transfer from inside itself without going out?
no,for domestic to international have to exit and re enter from outside.
Thanks so much for the reply! I am hoping to meet some friends at the airport. I have a 5 hr layover so was making sure i can get out and they won't force me to transfer internally
In India there is no way they can force you to transfer internally for any domestic to international connection at any airport.
As you would be arriving by domestic flight and immigration at Hyderabad so your arrival would be just as any domestic arrival and after arriving Hyderabad you are free to exit.
@@travelwithmatloo yeah, appreciate your response🙌
