    The dudes smiling were probably in awe of being in the presence of the most winningest team in history. Most of the USA team were probably inspired to play rugby by watching the AB’s and to face them and witness a haka face to face would’ve been near a dream come true in my opinion

    The USA player is probably smiling because you are against one of the greatest sides in the world. Also seeing the Haka performed in front of you by the All Blacks. He was just caught up in the moment

    To know you're going to face off with the mighty All Blacks would be the highlight of many of these players lives. It would be an honor to be chosen for the team that plays them. They knew they wouldn't win, but to be there facing the haka, bro. I would be chuffed.

    Some will be nervous smiles, some smiling at the fact they get a rare opportunity to face the greatest rugby team in the world and some will be smiling to he staunch. The noise in the crowd during the haka was from USA based Polynesians supporting them with their war cry "Chuuuhoo!". Yes the players are big and mobile, not big like a NFL player as these players must be able to stay constantly active for 80 minutes, but these guys are big and very hard/tough. It also depends on the position, the forwards are your huge guys and the backs are ur more speedy guys, all well built though.

    The smiling, i suspect it could be a number of reasons. All Blacks Haka is legendary, there would be an excitement in that if it's your first exposure actually being there in the now. Actually many people smile, cry, chills, and even state of chock when seeing it up close for the first time. It's not uncommon.
    Many times when you hear of someone exposed to haka for the first time, they describe it as awe inspiring, passionate and sheer raw energy. I've responded to Haka like that, and that's after being raised with it.

  • @logiezvlogs845
    @logiezvlogs845 2 года назад +1

    It is not disrespectful to smile when someone is doing a haka. It is so beautiful that whatever emotion comes out you can do what ever you feel. Those guys did not mean no disrespect at all. Some people smile some people cry, there is no set way you have to react to someone doing a haka to you. As long as the people doing the haka are doing it right and understand the meaning of what they’re saying. The reaction of others don’t matter.

    • @Twano2am
      @Twano2am  2 года назад +1

      I know didnt mean to disrespect, i said that in the reaction over and over, and i overly understand because that was my first reaction when i seen the haka for the first time which is on my channel, as i stated in the video i understand the Americans didn’t mean any disrespect, it just looks like it (disrespectful)

  • @shakirar11
    @shakirar11 2 года назад

    Everyone is different and shows emotions different for perhaps the same reason, I honestly do not think that he was being disrespectful at all, that was perhaps his hype, and maybe seeing the Haka first hand, I think the USA team showed a lot of respect over the entire game, remember, the USA are fairly new to the game, and finding their bearings, unlike our ABs they have total experience to the game...When they did the silence for Sean Wainui, the noise was coming from Pacific Islanders and the way they call out, or cheer, which was absolutely rude, and being Pacific Islanders they should indeed know better, as they also have been brought with learning respect, so I am not sure weather they perhaps knew that was a silence moment or not.

The U.S are fairly new to rugby, they normally lose big time to the all backs, south africa and australia. We are quite used to the U.S laughing or smiling at anything they dont understand.
