The dudes smiling were probably in awe of being in the presence of the most winningest team in history. Most of the USA team were probably inspired to play rugby by watching the AB’s and to face them and witness a haka face to face would’ve been near a dream come true in my opinion
exactly
The USA player is probably smiling because you are against one of the greatest sides in the world. Also seeing the Haka performed in front of you by the All Blacks. He was just caught up in the moment
I thought the same thing. This is the top level in the world of rugby
He was happy he finally get to see the All Blacks doing the Haka right infront of his eyes
Hard
no many get to front the haka, these US boys look excited to be facing the haka, once in a lifetime..
Rest In Peace to our cousin Sean wainui miss you forever and Always xoxoxoxoxo
To know you're going to face off with the mighty All Blacks would be the highlight of many of these players lives. It would be an honor to be chosen for the team that plays them. They knew they wouldn't win, but to be there facing the haka, bro. I would be chuffed.
Imagine watching the all blacks play all your life and finally playing them. You see the haka up front and personal, something you have only ever dreamed of. I'd be smiling as well
Absolutely
Some will be nervous smiles, some smiling at the fact they get a rare opportunity to face the greatest rugby team in the world and some will be smiling to he staunch. The noise in the crowd during the haka was from USA based Polynesians supporting them with their war cry "Chuuuhoo!". Yes the players are big and mobile, not big like a NFL player as these players must be able to stay constantly active for 80 minutes, but these guys are big and very hard/tough. It also depends on the position, the forwards are your huge guys and the backs are ur more speedy guys, all well built though.
Mad respect ❤️ never thought America would feel the lost we have felt 🙁😭
A fellow athlete is a fellow athlete regardless of where you are from.
RIP Seany🙏 One of my idols gone to soon 🥺
@protrx 1 that’s what I heard but damm I ain’t believing it just yet 😓
@protrx 1 not confirmed...
@protrx 1 it ain’t confirmed so i suggest you just be quite n keep it as an “accident” pretty rude to assume.
i liked this vid before i even started watching, just becuase the fact you even reacting to the bro Sean Wainui... your the man for this one brother. JAh JAh
love your videos and all your content, thanks for all the reactions!!
The smiling, i suspect it could be a number of reasons. All Blacks Haka is legendary, there would be an excitement in that if it's your first exposure actually being there in the now. Actually many people smile, cry, chills, and even state of chock when seeing it up close for the first time. It's not uncommon.
Many times when you hear of someone exposed to haka for the first time, they describe it as awe inspiring, passionate and sheer raw energy. I've responded to Haka like that, and that's after being raised with it.
The guy smiling is living a moment many others won't.. hes relishing the challenge thrown to him and loving it! No issues with this at all makes the games exciting :)
I understand 💙
Thank you for your understanding 😊
love how you embrace our country/culture! you definitely would be welcomed with open arms to new Zealand bro
The American players were not smiling out of disrespect, they were smiling because they were in awe of pure All-Black awesomeness!!!
Guy thought it was funny the same way that you did before you understood haka better. He isn’t a villain IMO. Perhaps he was just stoked to be there playing the world’s best in their sport 🤷♀️
He was smiling because it’s a beautiful way to send off
Thank you very much for that from the Maori Community🙏🙏🖤🤍🖤🤍
You have to understand these guys may look like they are smiling for there own ego but I've watched this long enough to understand this guy is really showing he is up for the challenge
A lot of rugby players is a dream to face a haka because you know you’ve made it win or lose
Broooo this why I been rocking you from the start ❤️ ISSS BIGTWANOGANG!!!!!
Much respect homie!!
Thanks for this video. I’m sure he’s looking down proud right now. The Haka was really special to him. He even taught his son at an early age to do it lol. Rest In Power to my dear brother Sean 🥂💙💙
Rip Sean
rip sean
Mad respect my g
Bro - you saw exactly what that smug smile was - and you called it out. You did that over and over. You knew it for what it was - racism. Good man
RIP ❤
i 100% believe sean was with them on that day ❤️
Yeah bro sad news Long live Sean Wainui..gone way to soon he was already massive in the sport definitely going to be missed brother..ride the rainbow brother..
Thank you for your reaction Twano 🥰 Arohanui
❤️
Top man brother
Once I seen the title and before I clicked play I hit like. Thanks Twano2am for paying your respects.
💙
It's a emotional and spiritual dance we as indigenous do back home. It's talking about going to war preparation before war taking the fight to the enemy and if we die we die together doing so.
The American was smiling because he was stoked to be opposite the best team in the world. As a kiwi I saw that straight away. Leave him alone his team was humiliated enough already. USA is a new team they'll get better. Be proud of your team as Kiwis are of the All Blacks.
RIP 🕊
Should react to the highlights to this game my bro
It's the feeling of the spirit you get when the haka is being performed in front of you..especially when you are from New Zealand feelings of happiness like yeah that's my country proud to be from New Zealand..te wairua o te haka
RIP Sean
RIP sean wainui 🤙🤙🤙
Chur bro ✌️AM
Chur Twano you spoke Māori well🇳🇿
you should react to is this the most intense haka ever
As a Maori guy myself it's cool to see the amount of respect you have toward the haka that you can see and understand that it's not a time to be laughing and smiling even thoe he may not of been purposely trying to be disrespectful toward them. much love to that my bro
It is not disrespectful to smile when someone is doing a haka. It is so beautiful that whatever emotion comes out you can do what ever you feel. Those guys did not mean no disrespect at all. Some people smile some people cry, there is no set way you have to react to someone doing a haka to you. As long as the people doing the haka are doing it right and understand the meaning of what they’re saying. The reaction of others don’t matter.
I know didnt mean to disrespect, i said that in the reaction over and over, and i overly understand because that was my first reaction when i seen the haka for the first time which is on my channel, as i stated in the video i understand the Americans didn’t mean any disrespect, it just looks like it (disrespectful)
Yeh I get ya and it’s really cool that you are watching and trying to understand our culture it’s so cool. But if you really want to see what is actually disrespectful you should search Wallabies turning backs on Haka.
They turned their backs??? 😳😳😳😳 whaaatttt can you send the link please
ruclips.net/video/neSl_nSvbcQ/видео.html it was a long time ago cause now they get fined if they interrupt but the footage isn’t the greatest.
That man smiling knows its an honour to have a haka performed for you.
Have you ever here of home free if you haven't heard of them they are good they sing mostly country music but they sing different can of music and they sing with out music you will like them next reaction you do react to home free ??when a man loves a woman?? or die a happy man?? Falsam prison blues
Tbh rugby players come in all shapes n sizes. Every position usually fits a particular physique. You need to be just as strong as you are fast. You can be the biggest player but still get tackled by the smallest. It’s all in the technique.
Right 💯
Rip Sean Wainui
The guy in middle was probably nervous of the all blacks and our haka we are intimidating and strong RIP Sean Wainui a true legend 🙏 ❤
3:50 Kreole Rangihuna.. the natives were formed in 1880s... ww1 was 1914.
Hey yo man love your content bro I seen your Once were warriors reaction vids It would Be cool if you watched Resolve another Nz classic not as popular but still a classic would be cool if you replied love your content
Bro can you react more to Sean wainui
Bruh I’m crying before even watching.. lol
🥺😔
He was smiling cause he was excepting the challenge… I feel like he would know what was coming cause he would have been told and looked into it. Hakas have many meanings happy and sad but was used to challenge others and they would all have their own
Accepting 😂😂
you don't have to be big it's about the hard work you put in and technique you follow through with main thing fitness play threw your grades
man hopefully usa get better in rugby, make the game grow. their rugby 7s team is already one of the best!
besides that rip sean
For USA its like playing your idols. Like Lebron and Curry etc. NZ is that elite at rugby. id say thats why they are smiling
Everyone is different and shows emotions different for perhaps the same reason, I honestly do not think that he was being disrespectful at all, that was perhaps his hype, and maybe seeing the Haka first hand, I think the USA team showed a lot of respect over the entire game, remember, the USA are fairly new to the game, and finding their bearings, unlike our ABs they have total experience to the game...When they did the silence for Sean Wainui, the noise was coming from Pacific Islanders and the way they call out, or cheer, which was absolutely rude, and being Pacific Islanders they should indeed know better, as they also have been brought with learning respect, so I am not sure weather they perhaps knew that was a silence moment or not.
you should react to terron Beckham nfl switched to rugby brings up good points from switching codes
chur bro back at yar 👍
Kia noho humarie, kia marire kua haere a Sean Wainui ki reira
Hes smiling but realy he was scared lmao. Trembling in his undies haha
U gotta react to slow for me by scorey barley got any views he signed to polo g but it’s pretty heat
Tbh ion really like scorey music , Ik exactly who he is 💯
They got all these mullets…..
Real Sad🇳🇿
DANGEROUS 843 mafia reaction???
There is a difference between smiling at the Haka and laughing AT the Haka
I didnt laugh AT the haka
@@Twano2am I know 😉 was referring to the players etc
Bro react to the game highlights
The all blacks do the haka before every game. They are the number 1 team in the world haha
I believe it there big.hucka
It’s spelt Haka
@@nikauking8770 oh im sorry.
I think they were smiling because it's the only thing they'll remember from the game cos the score knocked em out in the end 🤣🤦
Gets cocky and laughs during the haka then gets embarrassed by full time
The U.S dont understand. Its a shame there were not 'prepped' by the coach with what to do during a haka. Or maybe they dont care to respect a culture, especially the best team in the world. The U.S are fairly new to rugby, they normally lose big time to the all backs, south africa and australia. We are quite used to the U.S laughing or smiling at anything they dont understand. But!!! thanks for learning and understanding.
i dont think they were laughin in a bad way they were just stoked that they have the chance to play against the all blacks cos alotta them players are facing the all blacks for the first time. either that or they just nervous
You don’t need to be big to play rugby, you can’t run without legs. Jason saab is Nigerian he look just like you same size and height and he good.
This is our culture….the Haka is a challenge …respect…..and a tribute to Sean Wainui….RIP…..I agree about the smile…I didn’t Iike it either…..to me it’s disrespectful..NZ
History was told, hakas were only ment to be done in uriara..or Aotearoa..no where else.then they changed it..
Sorry brothers we miss out on you.. DON'T FORGET ABOUT NEW ZEALAND JOIN UP ONLINE BROTHERS WILL BACK YOU UP🔥💯🇳🇿🇳🇿🇳🇿
#Abz#topteam
4:50 I don't think it'd be embaressign to lose ... what'd be embarrassing is to not give it your all
…..nah losing by that much is definitely embarrassing, especially if you have a love/passion for the sport
@@Twano2am i mean ... depends. IDK how good american rugby team is but the all blacks are legends
NZ is the best team in the world by far. Us in South Africa are defs 2nd
You just need endurance and balls to play rugby bro im a islander i was born in to it and no they didn't lose because he smiled they lost because it's the all blacks best inthe business.
Shawn: Hasn't lost a game on American Soil, At least not with the M A Bs...
REACT TO DR #SOUTH HACKNEY- ACTIVE DEFFO NEXT UP 🔥 🔥 🔥 🔥 🔥
🇳🇿🇳🇿
A young Maori Chief a young Maori warrior gone to soon
USA also takes pacific islanders in their team. That's why they don't look like they from usa
I didn't like that guy in the middle either. It's a smirk, intended to mock.
You just might have a lil maori in you ☺️
lol when this man pauses the video might aswell skip foward 5 minutes he dont shut up
The dude smiling didn’t change the outcome of the game 😂. Y’all played one of the best team in the world when all due respect, yall r one of the worst teams in the world… game was never going to be close but team USA actually scoring a try against NZ is a big deal. First time in history so respect for that
Tbh i dont care of America won or loss lol , rip to that man tho 💯🙏
@@Twano2am yea I know and fair enough, rugby ain’t one of y’all’s sports so it’s understandable. But mannnnn if the states started putting money and effort into rugby they would b a problem
Nah that man smiling was excited to stand in front of a haka.. polynesians know its a honour to have a haka performed to you.
A
He took his own life the weak man.
He did?
@@Twano2am indeed.
He was having an affair , the mistress got pregnant. She was going to tell his wife and he a pro rugby player “didn’t want to lose his family and ruin his career”.
So he did both 🤦🏽♂️
Doesn't matter how people react to the haka. Haka will always be Māori! It is our way of connecting spiritually to those who have gone on or our ancestors and the universe around us. Understandably, not everybody is aware of this but if people can't appreciate it for what it is, then it's their loss! RIL Brother Sean x #PROUDMAORI ruclips.net/video/vpG53BhLDGw/видео.html
@devious1 what polys do a haka.. they have different names for the war dance.. not the same.
@devious1 Sorry i meant "What poly's (other than Maori) do a haka? haka is not a native Hawaiian ritual, it has only recently been performed Hawaiian culture. Non-Māori are welcome to learn the haka, however, it's important that you respect the culture and traditions behind the dance. Learn the words and make sure you understand the meanings behind the chants, the significance of a particular haka and what you are trying to express when performing it. may use it with respect but the haka belongs to Maori. And no i am not European. I am Tangata Whenua.
@devious1 Who asked if "War Dances" were used in polynesia before maori? I already know that smh but the HAKA Belongs to the Maori. Just like the Siva Tau belongs to the Samoan, Sipi Tau belongs to the Tongans or the Corroboree belongs to the Aboriginal.
@devious1 Haka is a war dance but it doesnt MEAN war dance SMH. Haka is not terminology 🤣🤣 i can tell you are clueless.. You must be pakeha.
@devious1 Facts are something you don't know..because Maori i am. And it's "you're" not "your" smh
I think they scared the u.s.
Bruuh u didn't even know who the all blacks were. And kobe got 60 in his final game.. educate yourself homie
And you watched my whole video front to back huh 🤔…
Lol the reason they can't do it every week is because every other team doesn't suck as badly as America 😂😂 y'all are hopeless at Rugby Union and League haha
You couldn’t be a rugby player lol.
Can you? 😂
