I am really enjoying your content. I have watched all of your episodes. You are digging deep into that Spyder. I can't wait to see if ya get 'er going. Keep up the great work. 👍👍👍👍
Thank you Coach! You are high on the inspirations list and you watching and taking the time to comment has me speechless. I have some big plans coming for this Spyder. I can’t wait to get it going and have my first ride on a Spyder. Hopefully I’m not disappointed 😅
You don’t need to sound perfect, you sound fine. Don’t listen to the negativity. You sound fine. I’m along for the ride! Congrats on the channel. Looking forward to seeing your progress.
Thank you very much. I'm my biggest critic and will tend to agree with some of the negativity. I really think Episode 2 came out much better than the first and I'm working on Episode 3 which I believe will be even better. I really just can't wait to share this journey and I'm happy that others like yourself are interested in coming along for the ride. Cheers!
Though I didn't mention it in the video, I believe this is a timing chain issue based on some of the "research brain" activity. In the next episode I'll be removing the plastic and get started on digging in. Sorry static in the audio. I have already purchased a new microphone for the next episode.
Over 130,000 miles!! Wow! I have been wondering how many miles these are good for...I have 72,000 on my 2018 F3. Our mechanic who owns Motorsports of Hanover in PA has told us that the engines are designed for 100,000 miles. I have been faithful in maintenance and changing my oil every 6500 miles (I've learned to do it to save some money plus it's a 250 mile trip one way from my house to Motorsports of Hanover). I think it's neat that you are tackling this project and wish you the very best of luck. My name is Jody by the way or you can call me Purple.
CoachBob and I just randomly saw your video. Thanks for the shoutout to Coach Bob. I predicted 3 of the 4! Ha! Personally, you did a great job! Keep doing what you’re doing! Congrats on the Spyder!😎
Thanks Coach Vic! You are both such great inspirations. I appreciate the kind words. I can’t wait for my first Spyder ride. It will mean so much more to me after putting in all the work. 💪🏻
I will install a scope to the cam and crank sensor to see the correlation. Then compare to a good known one. This week im gonna have fun installing my picoscope to my f3t and save references waveform to share with the community.
I learned from one of the great RUclips content creators how to take it all off before I even started. My second episode has a cool timelapse of the removal.
Bro, work on your speaking and script reading skills. If ya a cool very well done video with a proper intro and probably outro. But dude, seriously you sound socially awkward like if you had employees they would slowly go missing after work slowly over time. Cause fuck man you give me the killer vibes. (Can’t emotionally relate but r find the emotion in the conversation. Casually tossing out a recent divorce and immediately returns to “but I have a new wife shortly after” like it hurt his feelings but couldn’t mentally handle a desperation or to live alone with yourself cause you do t know what’s okay to think and do and what’s not and you need that person grounded to reality in life or you go off the rails eventually.
I appreciate the feedback. Though it isn't my first time talking to a camera, it was my first time without a director, camera operator, editor, sound guy, etc... I also think it came out rough but had to start somewhere. It can only get better from this one and I appreciate you for taking the time to give me your take, but "killer vibes", seriously, lol. Thanks again.

You've started an adventure. I'll be following along. I'm a sucker for diy research and repair!

That’s a great idea. I’ll know more after I remove all the plastic. I’m hoping to have episode 2 wrapped up today where I will be doing just that!
Love the content and the photos!
Thank You!
130k is actually moderate to low mileage. so far it seems like a timing problem
Hi love your videos,as for myself my road will start in late February of next yr
Thank you and best of luck!
I have the same bike i bought in Jan.never ran good. I changed plugs cured my problem.
Even getting to the plugs is a challenge on the Spyder. Thank you for watching
Once you figure out how to get the side panels off without wanting to destroy everything, Spyders are easy to work on...
I learned from one of the great RUclips content creators how to take it all off before I even started. My second episode has a cool timelapse of the removal.
@@Y-DER I've found that the panels constitute about 90% of the labor. I have a '17 RTL and hope to have that kind of mileage on it someday...
Loving the video series.
Hope you can get it on the road soon.
Just a note. Turn the music down. My ears are hurting.
Thank you and sorry about that - I have heard the music has been loud for some people. I'm working on that in future videos.
Maybe you should talk to Keith hammer he’s the Ryker doctor but I’m sure he knows a thing or two about spyders as well his you tube is rolling on 3
I will check out the channel. Thank you
