Used to catch shark of the Santa Monica pier at night. Some of the best bone free solid white meat from the sea. Years back restaurants would try to serve shark as swordfish to customers as they were very similar in taste and texture if prepared right. Also, years ago shark skin could be used as sandpaper.

Fortunately, a lot of people with a fully functional brain actually care about science and sustainability. It is not that difficult to find statistics and scientific studies about what is happening to shark populations and the effects of depleting the oceans of its top predators. I can clearly see a mako shark in this video, a species classified by the IUCN as Endangered.

Не рыба, а моча престарелого зайца)))
Если осетрину сварить в моче, то это будет тот самый, незабываемый вкус акулы.

Thanks for posting... One thing I could not figure out the shark Is Tintorera aka Blau Hai ( Prionace Glauca). Its meat has high water content , but yet can be straight away stir fried... perhaps the dish has gravy which helps to mask the water content. Had it been pan fried instead, the water from the flesh will definitely " flood " the pan for sure. Ammonia smell from the urea of Tintorera had been mitigated , since the it came whole gutted so the blood presumably had already drained out from the body.

Она отвратительная на вкус, так как у неё нет мочевыделительной системы. Мясо воняет аммиаком и мочевиной.
