- here is my reaction to the live performance by Bruno mare and silk sonics song, leave the door open, at the Grammys hosted by Trevor Noah.
after seeing it for the first time I rewatched it another 5 times. it really made my day and was just pure amazing. that is how it is done on the professional level. just undisputed perfection. there is nothing at all i could negatively say about this live gig by the boys.
in all future videos i will include links to sites that can help you find the best products or music or anything you need regarding music. This first link is to a site I just recently became aware of. Instead of selling cheap brands on equipment they sell 2nd hand name brand equipment in very good condition for a much cheaper cost. For example you can get a guitar worth $700 for $200. you get a guitar that might be out of your price range, in great condition and it is great for the environment. here is the link, check it out.

The glasses are because of "Bootsy Collins" NOT Elton John...he was involved in this project and he gave Silk Sonic their name!!!
You're Reaction is awesome! This is my era, but I don't think of Jacksons when I see it. It's more like Stylistics, Chi-Lites, Temps, etc. for me. The Angel Flight suits are classic 70s!! We girls LOOOVED those pants!! lol I would love to see more of Bruno Reactions from you. He's such an incredible pleasure to watch and listen to. You'll have to unloosen that tie on some of them. ha
That is exactly what I keep saying to myself. I NEVER think of the Jackson 5 when I see & hear this video, but many people use them as a reference nowadays. [I guess they're more familiar to younger people; Bruno's has a "chumon" homage to MJ.] I was grown in that era and remember the ones you mention exactly and even more whose names don't come to mind right now. It's great to see Bruno -- I should say Silk Sonic -- bring it back and update it at the same time. Can't wait til we get more from them.🤗😊💥 Anderson Paak is new to me so I've checked out some of his stuff because of Bruno. His music is avant-garde, old school and just sooo cool -- like from a different era. Example, Smokey Robinson? Smokey wrote a song for Anderson AND you can see how much he enjoyed performing it. He IS different. What an exciting discovery!
No auto tune real soul and funk...back to the future...70s to 2021 awesome 👌 👏 😎. Can't wait to hear and see more from their project pure feel good entertainment . Check out Bruno Mars live.. Versace on the Floor. Bruno at the Apollo..Chunky , Calling all my lovelies , Perm.. etc. bringing the party back.

More Temptation vibe than Jackson 5 although there is a little J5 in there because J5 got a lot of their moves from The Temptations.
Yeah I was just at the end of the Jackson era so that would be my reference for anything in that style from that time. I have seen the temptations perform on videos on RUclips but because I grew up with J5 I could relate to j5 more than the temptations. That is the thing with these reaction videos, you see it from my perspective, which comes from my experiences and you get to see how I react to these videos.
I like that your opinion is different to mine because we have something to discuss in terms of styles.

I really need people to start giving Anderson Paak his "flowers". He's an extremely talented AWARD WINNING artist, drummer, director, song-writer. He's been in this game and he and Bruno are an incredibly elevated musical duo. Thank you for saying this!

One correction i regards to ‘70’s, the background moves were not simple bro, they were way more involved. You make a good point as far as the 80’s 90’s boy groups using their arms & smooth steps, but the ‘70’s choreography was a lot busier. I think Silk Sonic purposely keeping steps more smooth then busy, which helps keep their vocal parts on point & still looks very cool. Anyway, great enthusiastic reaction! 👍 On the ‘shamone’ , most don’t realize that MJ started doing it as a homage to Mavis Staples of the Staple Singers, & their song, I’ll Take You There.
